Direct any questions to the Human Resources department.EMPLOYMENTThis section explains the employment classifications within the company. Nonexempt employees are covered by the Fair Labor Stands Act. They are not exempt from the requirements related to overtime and minimum wage. Exempt employees hold jobs that meet the standards and criteria established by the Fair Labor Standards Act—such as administrators, managers, and technical staff. These employees are exempt from the overtime and minimum wage provisions of the act.

Front Range Action Sports has established the following categories for both nonexempt and exempt employees.Full-time, regular: Work at least 37.5 hours every week.Full-time, temporary: Serve as interim replacements working a full-time schedule for a limited duration in order to complete a specific project.Part-time, regular: Work at least 20 hours every week, but less than 37.5 hours.Part-time, temporary: Serve as interim replacements working less than 37.5 hours per week for a limited duration in order to complete a specific project.WORKPLACE SAFETYDrug-Free WorkplaceFront Range Action Sports has a strong commitment to provide a safe environment for employees. Drug and alcohol abuse can pose a threat to the safety and health of workers as well as risk the security of our equipment and facilities. Please review the company’s policy in the supplemental document you received when you were hired.SafetyAll employees are required to perform tasks in a safe and efficient manner, complying with all federal, state, and local safety and health regulations and program standards.Smoke-Free WorkplaceSmoking on all company premises is prohibited. The law defines smoking as the “act of lighting, smoking,or carrying a lighted or smoldering cigar, cigarette, or pipe of any kind.”The smoke free workplace policy applies to:All employeesAll visitors to company premisesAll vehicles leased or owned by the companyAll conferences and meeting of the company held off-siteWORKPLACE EXPECTATIONSConfidentialityIt is the policy of Front Range Actions Sports that all information considered confidential will only be disclosed to employees, customers, suppliers, or other outside parties with whom we do business on a “need to know” basis.Electronic Communication and Internet UseEquipment owned by Front Range Action Sports and the related services provided by the company, including email and Internet access, may not be used for transmitting, retrieving, or storing communications that are defamatory, discriminatory, harassing, or pornographic in nature. Employees may not copy, retrieve, modify, or forward copyrighted materials, except with permission or as a single copy for reference only. Internal and external email messages are considered business records and may be used in the case of litigation.
