Introduction
Employee motivation is a vital part of every organisation as it will improve the productivity
of staff that will help in achieving the business goal. It is the main objective for every
organisation and business plan. Motivation helps in retaining the employees and improves the
performance of business by developing programs. Motivation can be achieved if employees
are rewarded for their performance ad appreciated for their good work. This could be done by
making the employees feel that they are good at their jobs and it is the duty of managers to
resolve all the queries face d by them by offering feedback to them. This includes
constructive criticism that is needed to address the issues and help employees perform their
jobs more effectively. Managers conduct formal reviews about the on-going strategies
regularly, and provide employees feedback regularly so that they can improve. In this report,
three questions related to motivation are answered.
Answer to question 1
Employees need to be motivated so that they could enhance their performance. Some of the
ways through which it can be done is by offering them regular feedbacks, involving
employees at time of decision making, celebrating company’s success and by being flexible
towards them (Malik, Butt & Choi, 2015).
Some other ways through which employees can be motivated are:
By setting small goals can help employees to achieve their targets and they should be
rewards by some incentives so that overall performance improves.
Being transparent also motivates employees, as they feel that they are an important
asset for an organisation (Zameer, Ali, Nisar & Amir, 2014).
