INTRODUCTION
The organizational behaviour is defined as the ability to understands, motivate and
support a group of people who are working together in a team. It involved the study of what
people do in an organization and how that affect the organization's output. The organization
which is mentioned in report is Marks and Spencer, it is a British multinational company. The
speciality of Mark and Spencer is to selling clothings, cosmetics, food products and home
equipments. They expanded their company to Canada about forty years ago. This report
discusses about the impact of positive employee's behaviour on organization's success. Further,
the report also analysed some ways which help organization to motivate employees. Moreover,
this culture included the general optimism and beliefs that is implanted by the leaders to modify
the techniques.
1. Employee motivation
As per the views Bayanova and et.al. (2019) employee motivation means the passion,
innovation and dedication an employee always bring this to organization regularly. Motivation is
concerned and consequently occupied an employee to feels collaborative for the organization's
objectives. There are two types of motivation in employee which is discussed below:
Intrinsic motivation
It means that a particular employee to stay motivated within the organization. That means
they want to perform good at their workplace. The effect of their performance is based on their
optimism. According to Elsbac and Stigliani (2018) this motivation helps employee to learn new
languages for their own growth not for organization. An employee's implanted optimism are
normally the powerful motivational component. Such employee's have ordinary qualities like
acceptation, excitement, distinction and enthusiasm to achieve success.
Extrinsic motivation
As stated by Isensee and et.al. (2020) this motivation in employees usually means to
motivate particular employee is excited by outer component like profit and knowledge. In this
motivation instead of inside people get motivated from outside and that helps them to complete
their tasks. The external motivation includes bonuses and awards which helps them to stay
motivated and organization can provide positive feedback from them.

There are some ways to helps in motivate employees:
Employee motivation survey- By using online study, with the help of software program
it can conduct the individual's motivation surveys. This survey helps them to give
genuine and proper feedback about their content and opinions.
Employee satisfaction survey- Employee motivation count on many factors which can
be better work environment, framework, duties and responsibilities.
Create amazing work environment- The work environment of an organization badly
impact the employee's mood. That depends upon the atmosphere of an organization to
maintain the staff's mood for accomplishment of an objective.
Providing flexibilities- Not all the individual staff are same, some may prefer the office
time nine to five working. Others not prefer this much of time, some employees like
coming to wok on daily basis, and other may prefer to work from home for their
comfortableness. By allowing them some flexibility to work as they want to do it on their
own which helps them to stay motivated.
2. Organizational culture
In the opinion of Lorincová and et.al. (2019) organizational culture is the accumulation of
belief, requirements and pattern that lead and modify the activities of all the group members.
Cultures generated through stability and reliable behaviours. The organizational culture influence
all the features of the company from timing to quality of bidding status and employee
performance. When office culture fit with the employees, they are probably started feeling more
comfortable, assisted and valuable. As mentioned by Ozkeser (2019) companies that arrange
culture as a most essential feature that also affect the organization's culture in positive way.
As per the views Paais and Pattiruhu (2020) organization culture consider an
organization's demand, capabilities and belief as well as the values lead the individual's
behaviours and stated in employees self- observation, essentials and fundamental interactions
with external world and upcoming demands. Culture also consider the organization's sight,
belief, criteria, method, signal and languages. According to Syakur and et.al. (2020) culture
explicit how their concept perform out in the work spot. The tension of individual's behavioural
factor and how organizational culture immediately determine the behaviours of employees inside

a view as the object that indicates an organization, it can be influenced and changed to depending
up on leaders and employees.
As stated by Bayanova and et.al. (2019) this culture explains the proper manner to act
inside the organization, it included of common optimism and beliefs implanted by managers and
then interface and strengthened through several techniques. According to Fitria (2018) employer
has an essential duty in continue a powerful culture, opening with enrolling and selecting
applicants who will share the organization's beliefs and thrive in that culture development of
positions and training and practices.
3. Primary Research findings
In this section, it has been focused on the primary research analysis, using a method of
survey questionnaires to gather or collect relevant information about the topics- employee
motivation and organisation culture (Virgiawan, Riyanto and Endri, 2021). For this report, it has
been conducting the primary survey so that it has been targeted audience of 20 employees of
M&S. Through this process, it can be identified the perception of employees and integrate them
in logical discussion.

According to the data interpretation, it has been identified the concept of employee
motivation and organisation culture. Conducting a survey questions and identifying the opinion
or view point on two topic. Throughout analysis, it has been summarised that engage with
relevant information or data, in order to provide the brief idea about the flexible working
environment, role of supervisor in terms of motivation. Based on the estimation, it has concluded
that 60% to 70% respondents have shared their idea, assumption through experiences,
representing the significance where the level of employee motivation helps to build a confidence
among the potential staff members in the workplace. On the other hand, organisation culture is
also supporting the M&S in terms of business expansion. It was true that employee motivation
level depends on the culture or environment of enterprise. The data interpretation can be
categorised into different manner. It include very satisfied, satisfied, very dissatisfied and
dissatisfied. These kind of options are quickly inspiring & motivating the employees to achieve
desirable goals, objectives.
