Introduction The workforce of a company is its lifeblood to perform well in their current business market and in accordance with this fact, this report is related to the discussion on the motivation and factors which keeps employees motivated in an organization (Markina and et.al., 2019). Motivation is crucial for any person to attain their targets, it focuses on using the best of human resources and also make employees efficient. A motivated employee is important for an organization to achieve its objective and to maintain stability. It also discusses the factors which results in experience of the employees in an organization in a positive and negative way. MAIN BODY What does Motivation Mean? Motivation is a process to affect someone which helps in achieving their desired goals. Humans have some basic needs to be fulfilled in order to keep them motivated. These basic needsare related to their salary, clothes, home, health, financial security and some needs are related to emotions, love, relations and friends. An employee gets motivation from inside by doing jobs of their own interest, getting achievements and recognition at work place and on the other hand they also get motivated by receiving good pay, appreciation and recognition at work place(Johari and Jha, 2020). The various factors which motivate employees to work Salary:Salary is an important factor which affects the working of the employees at workplace and helps in motivating them. By having a job which has high salary, employees get motivated to perform in a better manner and this increases their value in the eyes of the company. Salary is one of the biggest motivators as it is the first consideration of people while applying for a job. Promotion:Itprovidesemployeesthesenseofachievementbygivingthemmore responsibilities and opportunities to prove them. If companies do not provide any promotion to the employees then they will feel irritate and will lose their interest towards the job. On the other, giving them chance to grow instead of staying at same position will improve their working habits, this also provide them job security. Work Environment:It has direct impact on the working of the employees as it affects their productivity, skills, ideas to do new things. A good surrounding allows employees to work at 3
their best level and helps them to grow. For a company it is important to satisfy their employees by giving them a positive working environment. The positive factors employees experience as a result of their job roles The factors which gives employees and keep them loyal towards the organization is given below- FriendlyEnvironment-Inanorganizationitisimportanttohavegoodworking environment because employees feel valued and can share their problems knowing that they care about them and also increase the team spirit which helps in increasing the morale of the employees. A friendly environment helps to improve the mental health and make employees to feel better about themselves. Appreciation from colleagues and seniors-An employee should get praised by their superiors as well as their colleagues as this will raise their confidence and they will feel more positive. By getting appreciated, employees feel that the work they do for their company is important and it makes them work harder and this helps push their productivity and performance levels. Positive job roles which include constant sources of appreciation help build a motivated workforce(Reizer, Brender-Ilan and Sheaffer, 2019). Balance between personal and work life-Employees needs to balance their life at work place and at individual level, it helps in decreasing their tension, they need to involve more in their social life to keep them refresh from work stress. A healthy and creative workforce can be develop by having having balanced work life Different tasks-Variation in tasks will increase workers productivity and skills. When employees deal with various other situations and works in solving them, it results in rise in their creativity. It also helps in preparing the employees for future job promotions and growth. 4

The negative factors employees experience as a result of their job roles Although there are positive factors associated with job roles and descriptions, there are also many negatives which can be found in many companies where employees are suffering. Some of the negative factors which employees experience as the result of their job roles are listed herein and the reason is working environment is not good , bad management, workplace conflicts,gossips and other factors and these factors effect the company's reputation and its growth. Worryaboutthefuture-Thisisthemostcommonfactorwhichaffectstheemployee performance nowadays as most of the people suffer with anxiety disorders or anticipatory fear as they always think about future outcomes which they have never experienced before. To overcome this fear manager need to address the negative thought of their workers and try to resolve it(Babaeinesami, 2019). Lack ofmanagers support-If the manager are not supporting their employees or not giving anyadvisetosolvetheproblemthenitwilleffecttheemployeesnegativelyastheir performance will dwindle and they will not give their hundred percentto the organization and will also feel unsatisfied with their job Badworkingenvironment- Iftheemployees donotfeelanyseanceof acceptanceor belonging it will effect their work and mind as they will also feel alone and isolated as every one loves social interactions. Managers need to provide safe working conditions, encourage the workers to keep pushing forward in a holistic manner and prevent them from getting harassed at the job. Strategies to cope withnegative factors employees experience as a result of their job roles If the company feels that their workplace is becoming too negative, and they want to improve this negative environment, there are some strategies to handle this which are given herein. Safety and Security- This is most basic need for employees which provides a sense of security and well being as all the workers want to increase their monetary sustainability which requires moremoneyandprotectionfromphysicaldanger.Asamanager,providingsecure compensation , safe working conditions andjob security to the employees results in them 5
overcoming the problem of negative experience of their job roles(Sheaffer, Levy and Navot, 2018). Identifying the behavior of employees-Different employees have different behavior and as a result, it is very important for companies and managers to identify the different types of behavior among their work force. The company should make strategies keeping in mind the difference in their employee behavior. Provide Control over their job-Providing opportunity to the worker to make decisions and motivating them to control and influence their job helps develop a connection between the employee and their job which develops loyalty. Give opportunity to express their ideas-Managers should give an opportunity to the employees to take part in decision making process and also take their opinions regarding workplace improvements. If the managers are treating their employees in advantageous way then they will feel positive and motivated. Be a leader– According to this strategy, managers have to provide suitable leadership to their employee which will help the employees to take better decisions and feel more motivated (Herron, 2022). Target punishment and rules-Managers must not create rules or unnecessary targets for all employees because this will effect the individualin a negative way because nobody likes to do work under pressure as all employees have different mindset and skills which sometimes affect their performance. Conclusion The above report went to detail regarding the meaning and application of motivation in detail. It included various information like different factors of motivation of employees to work, and the report also included the positive and negative factors of employees experience as a result of their job roles and then lastly strategies were explained to cope with negative factors that employees experience as a result of their job role. It was concluded from this report that motivation is a very important factor to help businesses succeed and keep their workforce committed. 6
