Introduction
The workforce of a company is its lifeblood to perform well in their current business
market and in accordance with this fact, this report is related to the discussion on the motivation
and factors which keeps employees motivated in an organization (Markina and et.al., 2019).
Motivation is crucial for any person to attain their targets, it focuses on using the best of human
resources and also make employees efficient. A motivated employee is important for an
organization to achieve its objective and to maintain stability. It also discusses the factors which
results in experience of the employees in an organization in a positive and negative way.

What does Motivation Mean?
Motivation is a process to affect someone which helps in achieving their desired goals.
Humans have some basic needs to be fulfilled in order to keep them motivated. These basic
needs are related to their salary, clothes, home, health, financial security and some needs are
related to emotions, love, relations and friends. An employee gets motivation from inside by
doing jobs of their own interest, getting achievements and recognition at work place and on the
other hand they also get motivated by receiving good pay, appreciation and recognition at work
place (Johari and Jha, 2020).
The various factors which motivate employees to work
Salary: Salary is an important factor which affects the working of the employees at workplace
and helps in motivating them. By having a job which has high salary, employees get motivated
to perform in a better manner and this increases their value in the eyes of the company. Salary
is one of the biggest motivators as it is the first consideration of people while applying for a job.
Promotion: It provides employees the sense of achievement by giving them more
responsibilities and opportunities to prove them. If companies do not provide any promotion to
the employees then they will feel irritate and will lose their interest towards the job. On the other,
giving them chance to grow instead of staying at same position will improve their working habits,
this also provide them job security.
Work Environment: It has direct impact on the working of the employees as it affects their
productivity, skills, ideas to do new things. A good surrounding allows employees to work at

Introduction
A person can feel the utter excitement and happiness when they are personally
independent. Work is the most important priority in everyone life and no person just work
only fro earning the living expenses but their main agenda is to manage and control, their life
in their own way and also to standardized the life of the family members. While working
individual teds to learn so many new skills and along with that they also gain a new
atmosphere and colleagues, friends through which they feel confident and more open and
satisfied. Some of the most important reasons for which a person attains work is like,
economic pressure, emotional reasons, potential to perform and work, play inertia and many
more. The most important element which make the people to work in stable manner is
motivation as it satisfy them and it also make them feel valued and happy(Landry and et. al.,
2017). In this report their will be discussion about the factors which are important for
motivation. Further it will also cover the positive and the negative experience faced by the
employees in job role.
What does Motivation Mean?
Motivation is an important process in an individuals life it considers guidance,
initiation and also all the methods through which the goal oriented behavior can be managed.
This considers social, emotional, biological cognitive forces through which the person's
behavior can be analyses (Foster, 2021). This plays an important role in making the driving
force in life of a person. Their consist to have so many different theories of motivation which
helps in managing the human actions and one of the important one is mentioned there under:
Maslow theory for hierarchy of needs consist of about five tier model in which the
depiction of the human needs are been given in the hierarchical manner as in the pyramid
shape. It generally focus on that all the individuals are motivated through one of the sources
and they continue to opt it as by managing the precedence of another. It is been given as
under:
Physiological Needs- This is the first and the foremost basic need which all the
individuals need to have liker food, shelter, clothing, water and many more. This is all
the necessity on daily basis and once the person is able to achieve this they try to
manage and make the other needs to be fulfilled.
Safety Needs- It is considered to be the salient need in which as once person is able to
cross the first stage of physiological need then they will focus on control, order,
