This presentation reviews two articles on employee performance management in higher education and non-financial measures in performance management. Decramer, Smolders and Vanderstraeten (2013) discuss the satisfaction of employees in educational institutions regarding management systems related to employee performance. O'Connell and O'Sullivan (2014) review the use of non-financial measures like customer satisfaction in performance management, specifically in CEO compensation schemes. Both articles suggest comprehensive approaches for effective management of employee performance. The presentation concludes that the articles provide valuable insights for future research in the field of workforce performance management.
