Literature review on employee productivity, training and empowerment of the
employees
Productivity is a financial measure of outputs for every input of inputs. The inputs involve
the capital and labour as the output is measured as per the revenues. The training is of rising
significance to organizations searching for competitive advantages. The empowered employees have
a rise in the sense of ownership in their company. The following study reviews a specific article to
understand employee productivity is largely reliable on empowerment and training of employees.
As per the article by Jalal, the research has meant to investigate the impacts of the factors of
human resource. This involves employee training, employee empowerment, teamwork on employee
productivity. For reaching this aim, various staffs at North Malaysian public universities are
surveyed. The outcomes have highlighted that teamwork has a notable impact on the productivity of
employees in line prior to researches. The prior notion was that ineffective teamwork leads to
unintended results like decrease in productivity and the staffs are not able to finish the activities
effectively and within a specific time. The importance of teamwork as understood from the study
indicates that teamwork must be evaluated and linked to the raise of the primary performance with
knowledge and skill capitalization of the staffs and through inspiring to accomplish the activities as
intended. The productivity measures can demonstrate how effectively the organizational resources
can be utilized to gain the outputs. These are helpful to gain and maintain greater performance level
specifically in developing the capabilities of different operations. Again, the measures of
productivity can be utilized for improving, monitoring and planning performance at various national
standards.
Nonetheless, the research also comprises of limitations. Initially, the sample has concentrated
on the staffs working under the education area. Thus it might never be generalizable to other sectors
