INTRODUCTION
Employee relation means to efforts to handle relations among employers and workers.
Company with better employees relation programs gives fair and accordant treatment to all
workers, so that they will be committed to their jobs and loyal to organization (Schumacher and
et.al., 2016). This study is based on the Marks and Spencer. It is the British international retailer
which offers in high quality clothing, food and home products across the worldwide. Report will
explain the employees relation and its important and value to the company. It will state key
legislation which applies to employees relation in the company. It will investigate rights and
duties of both employers and employees within the organization. Furthermore, assignment will
explain stakeholder analysis for the firm.
MAIN BODY
1.Employee relations and its importance to organization.
Employee relationship-
It refers to the relationship between the workers that are working in the organisation.
There should be healthy relationship between workers because it is essential for promoting a
healthy working environment in the firm. The management of the organisation should make
efforts for managing the employee relationship so that, it will help to reduce the conflicts that are
occurring between team members (Supanti, D., Butcher, K. and Fredline, 2015). This will help to
encourage good relationship between the staff of the company. Healthy relationship is very
essential for motivating the employees to contribute their efforts for achieving the goals of the
company and also results in improving the morale and confidence of the workers.
Employee relationship can also be defined as the relationship between the management
and employees of the organisation. Employer of the firm should make efforts for equal treatment
with the workers so that, they will remain committed towards the objectives of the company.
Organization should develop plans for resolving the issues related with human resource such as
work-life balance etc. This will help to improve employer and employee relations and also
results in achieving the objectives of the firm. For improving employee relationship management
of the company should consider the following points such as -
There should be interaction with the workers on continuous basis for providing them
information regarding the policies of the organisation.
