INTRODUCTION
Employees are the pillar of any organisation and they are responsible for making various
kinds of arrangements that will enable company to grow and prosper in an efficient way. Thus it
becomes even more important to make sure that right kind of relations are maintained with
employees in a way, that will enable company to serve its customers well in an effective as well
as efficient manner. In present day situation, organization has different significant resources and
among them most critical one is the workers. It is profoundly fundamental for the organization to
give better and powerful fulfilment to the representatives with the goal that they can give
expected level of execution (Evans, Pyman and Byford, 2017). Modern connection is very
identified with the worker connection which is by and large chiefly perceived among
representative and employee relation of the worker is exceedingly relative to the achievement of
the organization. In this report, organization which is being picked is ASDA which is a retail

Employee relations inside the organization. There are different advantages which can be drawn
by the two managers and in addition workers because of good Employee relations; these are

of advantages. An average and sound work put rouses agents for work, they can put their

agreeing will their own specific choice a fittingness. ASDA Makes sure that right kind of
working environment prevails within the company, that will enable the firm to bring even
new talents for the organisation in the longer run. If the company will be having right
kind of environment, high growth rate can be envisaged by the organisation and also
higher reputation can also be enjoyed by the organisations compared to its competitors.
Positive behaviour and environment: It is also one of the most important factors that is
essential for the purpose of maintaing a effective employee relations within the
organisation in the longer run. If the behaviour of people, who are working in an
organisation are good enough then it will enable efficient working and will also increase
the overall reputation and market image of the company within the market.

There are various sorts of laws as well as regulations which are being framed by the
government for protecting the rights of employees and which makes it important for employers
to continuously implement necessary laws for the benefits of employees and also ensures a
proper working environment. The various kinds of Acts, which are being framed by the
government are laid down as follows: Age Discrimination Act. : This act was enacted, by specifically taking care of employees
by favouring certain guidelines for them, this includes the provisions like, a employer can
not hire an individual who has not attain the age of 20 and also can not fire an individual
who has attained the age of 40, until serious circumstances arise. Anti-Discrimination Act.: This act sets down guidelines for businesses that they cannot
hire employees or allot work by discriminating among employees on the basis of sex,
religion, caste etc.
Minimum Wage Act. : This Act. Lays down the rules that an individual shall receive a
certain amount of pay within the organisation, irrespective of his duty within it, if the
