EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The current research is conducted for developing a detailed understanding about the role of
digital workplace transformation in employee work. This investigation highlights the various
dimension of workplace transformation and the role played by them in collaborating employee
with the strategy of digital workplace. The present research also contains the various impact of
digital workplace transformation in employee performance and productivity. To gather and
analyse data quantitative research methodology is used in order to attain research aim and
objective in valid manner. researcher has collected both primary and secondary data. Primary
data is collected by questionnaire which is used in data analysis part and secondary data is used
to address literature review question. In last part of this research report conclusion and
recommendation is given so that overall research can be done in systematic manner.

INTRODUCTION
Overview of the topic
Workplace transformation is growing concept and is gaining more importance day by day.
Workplace transformation is a business strategy which forces the company to rethink a
workspace which is more flexible. It is the method were various works, employee and
technology are accumulated all together so that organisation can perform their operation in
smooth manner. having a digital working space in the business assist them to make a better
collaboration and cooperation between employee and their job (Cetindamar, Abedin and
Shirahada, 2021). In recent time were business environment is so dynamic it become were
important to adopt the strategy of workplace transformation so that uncertainty can be reduced
by determine the threat prior to their existence. There are various dimensions of workplace
transformation which are human resource, project management, automation, relevant
information, connection and collaboration and embrace employee driven innovation. This all
helps aspects are covered in workplace transformation which improve the organisational
performance and productivity. technology helps the companies to shape e new work place which
helps them to perform their function and develop their businesses. One of the biggest advantage
of workplace transformation is developing a supporting environment which boost the morale of
the employee towards their job which directly enhance the productivity level.
Background of the chosen organisation
For the existing research the chosen organisation is Tesco. It is a British multinational
supermarket store which provide grocery and basic merchandise to the customer. The brand was
founded in the year 1919 by jack Cohen. It is the biggest supermarket in United Kingdom and
it’s headquarter is in Welwyn city, England (Hou and et. al, 2021). The company operates their
business in five countries which are Ireland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Europe.
Some of the brand of Tesco are Jack’s, One shop, Booker, Marko and many more. The company
was chosen because there are more than 367321 employee works so in order to see the role of
workplace transformation in making collaboration between employee with their job.
Research problem
The major problem in workplace transformation is deciding those strategies which can help
the employee to execute and collaborate with the companies while having the digital

transformation. Without workplace transformation companies cannot enhance their productivity
and can improve their business operation. In recent time were competition is rising at faster pace
and to gain competitive advantage it is very important for the business to transfer their working
space. Workplace transformation is business strategy which helps the companies to adopt those
technology or approaches which helps the employee to bitterly collaborate with their worker and
job in effective way (Cichos, Wallenburg and Knemeyer, 2020). in the absence of workplace
transformation different challenges is faced by the business which can affect their overall
performance. Some of the issue which are encounter by the organisation are duplication of work,
ineffective utilisation of resources, poor supply chain, ineffectiveness in sharing message and
many more. Thus, adopting the strategy of workplace transformation is very crucial for the
companies in order to make collaboration of employee with their job.
