It is a chain of activities for matchingorganisational requirements with potential skills and capabilities of an individual. Effectiveselection can be possible after effective matching. This research based on Travelodge Hotels Ltd.which is a private company that deals and operates in hotels and hospitality industry in market ofUK. It is second largest organisation in UK in context of hotel sector in terms of no. of hotelsand bedrooms. This report is based on Employee selection and how an organisation can selectbest and potential candidates as per their needs and wants to lead in market in proper way.Employee selection is very much important for an organisation to deal in effective mannerchanges occursin industry as hospitality industry is one of become most competitive inmarketplace. Human resource is one of most rare and precious assets so to select and retain isvery much crucial.BackgroundEmployee selection is consist of chain of activities by interviewing and judgingcandidates for a specific job role and after selecting candidate on pre-determined criteria (Cascio,and Scott, 2017). Employee selection process start from very simple process to complicated onewhich rely on hiring process and designation for which organisation planned to hire. Thisresearch report is based on Travelodge which is one of the largest chain of hotels operating inmarket of UK. It has large no. of hotels that should be built after evaluating needs and wants ofconsumer base in proper way. In year 1985 it is one of largest Britain's first hotel brand and asday passes it become one of largest chain of hotels and other services.Research Problem:Research problem is a written document which describes an area of understanding that anorganisation have to be improved to eliminate difficulty at maximum level to get right kind ofresults by conducting deliberative investigation. Some major concerns faced by researcher whileconducting various research practices that are they sometimes mislead from other relatedresearch subject that create problem in front of researcher. On other hand sometime people face
problem regarding lack of sources from which necessary information and data should becollected that are books, journals and articles that are important source for knowledge gaining.So to eliminate research concerns to get desirable outcomes in positive way.
