INTRODUCTION
Concept of employee training
Employees training is being considered as an important human resource function of a
company. These are basically training programmes which are developed by the company in order
to increase the skill, knowledge, efficiency and productivity of the employees (Jehanzeb, 2020).
When an employee joins a company they may not came with all the required skills and
knowledge which fully satisfy the role of organisation. Training and development programmes
develop the new skills and knowledge within the employees which not only improves the
productivity of the employee but also help the organisation in achieving a successful position in
the market. These programme has been developed by the company on periodical basis, it never
be continuous. The company chosen for this project is Asda, a retail sector based organization
which mainly deals in groceries and general merchandise.
Significance of developing employees training programme
According to the research it has been seen that employees training programme played a very
important role in the success of an organisation. As per the research conduct there is a significant
impact of employee training in the development of company. Training programme improves the
knowledge base and skill of the employees which help them in understanding and match the
various changes in the market (Khaliq, Kayani and Mir, 2020). These improvements impact
positively on the working of employee as well increase the profit and productivity of the
company. Every person in an organisation has lots of responsibilities and because of the high
pressure work employees sometimes may ignore their shortcoming. These training programmes
not only help the organisation as well as the employees in identifying the different opportunities
in the market but also benefit them to overcome from their weakness.
Purpose of the research: -
According to the research it has been seen that employees training is very important for the
development of an organisation in a very significant manner. The main purpose of this research
is to address the importance of, developing employee training and development programme to
different organisation. These programme brings positive change with them which help in running
the different function of an organisation in a very effective and smooth manner. These
programme has been develop within a firm with the purpose of improving the individual level of

awareness, developing new skill in an individual so that they become expert in the different field
of the company and motivate the employee so that they work hard in achieving all the objectives
of business.
