MAIN BODY
The present essay will discuss about employment law and CSR policy which need to be
followed by company in order to sustain in firm. Along with this, study will be throwing light on
structure of employment law of UK and the activities present in CSR
Moreover, employment law of UK is derived from three main source such as legislation,
tribunals and common law. This law consists of guidelines that need to be followed by employer
and employees within the organization. Along with this, it has been found that issue related to
employment act has been heard by employment tribunal. Although the tribunals rules and
regulation are not similar to civil law as both deal with different nature of case (Wiley and
Bagenstos, 2020). During the time of Brexit many of acts has been changed and most of the
provision was ended by December 31. Moreover, there has been various amendment has been
made in this act and it scope has also become wider as it protects employees right and provide
them with judicial remedy. Although it includes right related to equal pay, 1970 in which it has
been cleared that salary need to paid on the basis of performance and not on basis of gender.
Along with this, it has also added provision of Health and safety at work, 1974 which describe
that organization should right about the policy relating to maintain the safety during the work
such as first aid kit should be present, guidelines regarding using of material need to present on
the equipment. The danger signs need to present in case of any serious matter.
Moreover, Disability Discrimination Act, 1995 in which employees that suffer from any
physical disability are also get hire and special treatment are given to them.
There has special employment court has been established by the government that deals with the
dispute arising during the course of working. The cases heard in special court is mainly related
to violation of the rights of the employee or any misconduct have occurred while working.
Although the other court is common law in which employees can bring case related to claim in
contract against employee or to seek higher court remedy in appeal (Witthayapipopsakul and
et.al., 2022). ACAS is known as government body which helps in providing cost effective
alternatives for the subordinate in tribunal. Thus employment law protects rights and
responsibility under the agreement of employment and it also contain details regarding breach of
contract. This act also states that while recruiting the employees there should be no
