Innovation management is defined as one of those beneficial & useful procedures that a
manager and leader consider, for purpose of effectively managing their practices and activities
related to innovation (Appio and et.al., 2021). This process plays significant role in growth and
success of companies, whether it is large, small or medium size. It enables management to take
pleasure of generating revenue and enhancing consumer base, which is quite essential for them
to do so. Innovation management allow an organization to gain competitive advantages and give
tough competition to other brands that exist in the world of business. This procedure includes
different types of activities, actions and approaches, that aid to obtain desire outcomes. It permits
managers to deal with all the measures that aid to promote creations in the firms and to obtain
key advantages that is essential for organizational growth in the competitive business world. The
current assignment will explain what can organizations do to encourage innovation.
What can companies do to encourage innovation?
There are different types of sources or forces accessible in the corporate world that
organizations and entrepreneurs for purpose of their ventures success has been utilized and take
into their consideration. Innovation is one of those forces or sources that enabled a company to
grow and succeed in the market where they establish their business and outlet. Most of the
organizations still taking initiatives to encourage innovation in the workplace as it put direct
impact on their performance and productivity level as well as profitability. They may take
approach to use the best techniques and methods that enable to conduct this practice in effective
and useful manner and these approaches are;
It is fact that people prefer to take initiative in the context of achieving something new

innovation in the workplace by developing plan to reward each candidate, which make them able
to innovate something unique in term of product or service that aid to enhance customer

2021). Rewarding is one of those elements that companies may utilize or adapt to obtain
unpredictable benefits in bulk. It may aid to boost the morale and confidence level among
employees who tend to work within those workplaces where they may get the better result after
conducting varied initiatives and attempts to achieve set goals. It is important for an

organizational management to start rewarding employees, especially who may take effort to
innovate new thing that in turn provide benefits to each stakeholder whether they are manager,
employees, owner, etc. Firms especially in work load situation, take initiative to conduct this
practice or develop the same plan that help to encourage innovation successfully in the work
areas. After getting rewards individual employee may feel more confidence and productive as
they always take efforts to innovate those items that contribute to increase sales (González-
González and García-Almeida, 2021). It can be said that from healthy competition to understand
that employees hard work may appreciated, candidates likely to produce and provide quality
work when they comprehend meaningful rewards in varied terms such as incentive, bonus, etc.
The process of innovation encouragement in the workplace is quite difficult and
challenging too, because many employees may do not have any idea about to innovate and what
approaches they may take into their consideration in order to do that. In that situation,
organizations may take initiative to encourage innovation in term of creating creative
environment where leaders may support each person in the work area to innovate something new
such as a service, product or system, which they may utilize to gain unpredictable advantages.
Innovation culture development is the best way that firms may adapt to conduct expect practice
in effective manner (Chandler and Krajcsák, 2021). It may enable leaders and managers as well
to nurture unorthodox thoughts and their application. It is fact that a work area where
management create innovation culture usually subscribe to trust that innovation is not province
to top management or leadership, but it came from anyone in a company. When individual
person whether they are existing or new, start performing within this form of culture then they
may take approach to become an innovative candidate who may have capability to produce
creative things like products that gain customers attention and enhance their satisfaction level
(Kashan, Wiewiora and Mohannak, 2021). This technique may aid organizations to stand ahead
in the market and think beyond limitations as global expansion, through which they may gain
competitive adage, more than last few years or months.
In order to encourage innovation, organizations can do varied things, among which each
activity contribute to reach desire result. Resource allotment or distribution is another technique
