organisation Intel were associated with including the Dell which contributed around 20%,
Lenovo which was associated with contributing around 15% and lastly HP which was associated
with contributing around 10% of the total revenues which the organisation Intel gained. The
secret factor behind the success of the organisation was identified, and this included the
company’s initiative of making continuous updates in the products in a parallel manner with
respect to the current technologies (intel.in, 2019). Besides this, one of the existing employees of
the organisation had been associated with stating the fact that “there should not be a single
person who would be deserving all the credits related to success”. In addition to this, the
employee also highlighted the fact that the success can be achieved using a collaboration along
with a valuable innovation of the employees assisted by programmed management.
History of Intel:
As discussed earlier the company had been associated with a long journey in the year of
1968 on 18th July and had been capable of becoming one of the prominent organisation being
associated with the supplying of semi-conductor devices to the entire world. Followed by this
when the personal computer was introduced, Intel had been capable of becoming the major
suppliers associated with supplying semiconductors for the different devices which were used by
the Personal computers and this included the processors along with the other important parts
(intel.in, 2019). The first product which was launched by Intel was the 3102 Schottky TTL
bipolar 64-bit Random Access Memory or the SRAM which was considered to be having a
speed that was double the Schottky which were used previously before the introduction of the

associated with helping the organisation Intel to grow as a market leader despite the fierce
competition which was put forward because of the DRAM, SRAM, and ROM markets
throughout the 1970s. The organisation Intel had also been associated with the production of the
1024 bit ROM along with MOSFETs. From the year 1970, the business conducted by Intel has
started to increase in a rapid rate as they have been associated with the implementation of the
new manufacturing procedures along with being associated with increasing the production scale
as well. In the year of 1983, at the dawn of the personal computer era, Intel's profits came under
increased pressure from Japanese memory-chip manufacturers, and then-president Andy Grove
focused the company on microprocessors. Grove has been associated with describing this
transition in the book known as the “Only the Paranoid Survive”. One of the key element of his
plan included the notion which was followed by considering of the radical related to becoming
the single source for successors to the popular 8086 microprocessor (Pestana et al., 2019).
Followed by this the organisation Intel have later been associated with the introduction of the
Microcomputers and have been associated with putting forward of an increased competition
amongst many of the other semiconductor companies.
In the year of 1984, Intel has been associated with starting “The Intel Scientific Computer
Division” which was seen to be dependent upon the Intel microprocessors which were connected
in the hypercube topologies. However, in later days when the demands related to
microprocessors have decreased, and sales started to drop from the year of 2001. However,
despite this decreased sales in the year of 2005, the organisation have been associated with
concentrating upon the core processors and the company is seen to have been associated with
receiving a positive review related to the processors with respect to the “Nehalam Architecture”.

and the sales have also seen to have increased in a good manner (Bondi et al., 2018). In the year
of 2006, Intel had been associated with selling its XScale business to the Marvell Technology
Group by an amount of $600 million. However, in the year of 2008, Intel has been associated
with starting the shipping of the solid-state drivers. In the year of 2011, Intel was seen to have
started the manufacturing of the microprocessors in their new manufacturing unit. Around 75%
of the products of Intel are manufactured in the United States, and almost 75% of the customers
are seen to existing overseas. In the same year of 2011 Intel has started to pilot project in
collaboration with the ZTE corporation to produce mobile phones, Because of the PC declining
rules of 2006, Intel has been associated with cutting around 12000 jobs. During the 1990s the
organisation Intel had been associated with making huge investments upon the new designs of
the microprocessors helping in the development along with helping in having a rapid growth of
the computer industry (Rajagopalan & Krishna, 2018). Besides this, the huge investments made
by the Intel has also been associated with helping the organisation in becoming the most
dominant supplier of microprocessors for the PCs and was also become well-known because of
the aggressive and the anti-competitive tactics adopted by the organisation for defending its
position in the market. This particularly included the defence against the Advance Micro Devices
along with being associated with struggling against the organisation Microsoft so as to have
control over the direction of the PC industry.
Recent Innovation Engineering achievements of Intel:
In the last five years, Intel has been associated with achieving a lot more and have been
associated with serving as a reliable tool which is being used by the engineers as well as by other
technology lovers (intel.in, 2019). This, in turn, has been associated with taking forward the

terrorists. In addition to thi, the UAVs are also seen to be very useful in different fields such as
agriculture, aerial photography’s, delivering of products, racing drones, exploration of minerals
along with production and journalism as well (Sanchez-Iborra, 2016). UAVs are generally not
associated with containing any human pilot and are seen to be flying in the air using the usage of
the aerodynamic force which is produced because of the rotation of the propellers present in the
UAVs.

Challenges faced, and lesson learnt:
The first thing which is learnt from the Intel company primarily includes the fact that the
engineers should necessarily have a clear idea of the various kind of problems which are faced
along with being sure of the fact that that the engineer should necessarily understand the
problems. And should think of clearing that particular problem by means of using innovations.
Besides this, it is also important that the organisation should keep on updating themselves in

gaining the trust of the customers as well as for raising the trust. Besides this the way in which
the company is associated with taking decisions whenever the market levels are going low at the
