Introduction
Aviation risk management provides the impression of being single idea that is attained
for actual practice in cyclic process. Risk management helps in identifying as well as placing
control in aviation safety management. Hence, understanding of risk management is important
for aviation industry. Present study deals with the present engineering business environment as
well as organizational structure of Delta Aviation, an Aircraft Service organization. Logistics and
supply chain management, process of dealing with supply chain and ensuring buy-in from the
suppliers are described in the study. In addition, the engineering management tools required to
design an engineering services and delivery plan for aviation sector, evaluation of the delivery
plan encounters the requirements of aviation sector are discussed in the present paper. Any
emergencies that might prevent success of the delivery plan for Delta Aviation is evaluation in
the study. On the other hand, the steps for effective persuasion as well as negotiation, the steps to
manage effective group meetings and delivering effective presentation and the steps of delivering
plan developed encounters the needs of a sector is discussed along with personal commitment to
professional standards as well as obligations to society.
Task 1
1.1 The current engineering business environment and organisational structure:
The business environment is the compilation of the all-internal and external factors that
affects the business. The factors that are internal and external can affect each other for a
business. Several external controls are uncontrollable. In the recent time for the engineering, the
business environment is becoming an essential factor (Zhang et al. 2018). There are several

external factors of the engineering business environment. For every business, political factor is
the most important, as for any business the permission is needed from the government. There are
macroeconomic and micro economic factors are there which is included in the business
environment.

The organizational structure of any company depends on the size of the company. In this
report the selected company is the Delta Aviation. As it is an airline company so the
organizational structure is depend of the size of the airline. Mainly the industry of the airline is
manages all the activities by the board of the directors and by the chief executive officer. The

airline industry uses the hubs that are the small stations. A large amount of passengers are send
to the different hubs.
1.2 Logistics and supply chain management:
The logistics is mainly related to the activities, which occur within the single organization
inside. The supply chain refers to chain or the network of the companies for working for a
particular project or product. The SCM or the Supply Chain Management traditionally
acknowledges all the logistics.
Logistics and supply chain management. : The logistics is about mainly to get the
product correctly, to the customer, in a required quantity, in the proper condition, at right time, at
right place and mainly at the minimal cost.
Total Quality Management (TQM): It describes management approach to get long-term
success by making satisfaction of customers. The members of an enterprise are participating in
enhancing procedure, products, services as well as culture where they can work.
Supply chain is mainly a network of many companies or the organizations that are related
with each other through the every phase of the linkages. The companies are involved is various
process as well as the activities which produce the value in the form of a product and the services
in hand of the consumer that are ultimate. There is several different definition of supply chain
management.
1.3 Total quality management, types, origins and development:
Total quality management all the members of the organization participates for improving
the services, processes, products and the work culture. The main objective of the total quality
