Introduction
The aim of this report is to analyze the concept of project procurement management for
the outsourced work. The project undertaken involves implementation of a micro hydro power
plant. The Micro hydro power plant is a hydroelectric plant that is capable of producing 100KW
of energy. This project is being implemented with an aim of producing electricity with greater
efficiency and less cost. A micro hydroelectric plant is quite efficient as it has less maintenance
cost. The report will be discussing the cost allocation plan and will provide an idea of the
detailed project schedule. The details of the stakeholders will be discussed in the report as well.

2. Cost Allocation Plan
A project of implementation of a micro hydro power plant is undertaken. Since the
project is particularly complex, certain specific components are outsourced. The cost allocation
plan involves planning, estimating, budgeting and controlling the costs related to a project. The
overall cost of the project and the payments that are to be made to the resources of the project is
calculated.
In this project, the human resources are being paid in an hourly rate while the cost of the
materials and the equipment needed are being calculated on basis of their cost per use. The
Resource Cost estimation of the project is indicated in the figure below-

enable generation of electricity at a much lower cost. The project is able to provide an efficient
energy source. One of the most integral benefit of a micro hydro power plant is that, no reservoir
is needed for this system. The in-scope requirements of the project are as follows-
To implement a micro hydro power plan
To outsource certain parts of the project
To provide a cost effective energy generation solution
To implement the project within 3 months
The out-scope requirements of the project are as follows-
The project will involve generation of electricity up to 1000KW
The project will not involve the maintenance cost of the hydro power plant
The in-scope of the project will be met by fulfilling the milestone of the project which is
“Launch of the Micro hydro Power Plant”

The set budget of the project is $284,980. . The detailed project budget is indicated in
