Jessica Satsky, a college student wrote the position paper with the name “Children Need to play,
Not Compete” in which she takes the position that prepared sports is not goof for the children in
among the age of six and twelve. This is evidence that organised sports for Children have been
improved dramatically in United States.
The concern that is presented by the Jessica Satsky is all about the organized sports actions for
children for the age group of six to twelve. In US, the sports market is highly prepared
competitive sports which include Peewee Football as well as Little League Baseball are often
played by the adults as it is formed in an inappropriate way majorly for the children as it leads to
the physically as well as the psychologically harmful. Statsky show the opinion that when
obsessive parents and coaches levy the adult criteria on children sports which might consequence
in neither satisfying nor valuable to children. The author view is that children deal with the
injury in the organised sports that affect the development of children in near future. In such
sports, the major emphasize is done on competition as well as on wining the sports but this
unfortunately offer the occasion for parents as well as children with the motive to place their
needs ahead of the welfare of children (Launder & Piltz, 2018). However, the argument is done
by the parents of children because they cannot initiate soon formulating to live in the modest
free-market economy.
Critique
In the organised sports, the children deal with the physical injuries as well as psychologically
