1. Mohammmed, “I presented our Integrated Project Report to Mr. Ranjit.”

Reported speech: Ms. Sameera said that part-time students has been preparing for their
presentation due on Sunday.
4. “I am sending the 3rd year PE students to Vale Company for their internship.” Mr. Shakoor
says.

5. “4th year students have submitted their Final Year project to Dr. Sadhik for checking”

Response to Task 2
1. The opening ceremony of the new branch of IMCO in Duqum was attended by the dean.
2. The supervision of the new equipment in the company was done by Hamed and Salim.
3. The rules and regulations of the department will be adhered by the safety staff at all cost.
4. The annual gathering of employees will be attended by part-time students in the next
year.
5. The investigation of the accident which happened last month in the chemical lab has been
ordered by the manager.

Response to Task 3
1. If these test produces a positive result, then the experiment will get further grants.
2. The last production would stop if the quality of the sale does not improve.
3. If we had installed a new system, we would not be facing the threat of losing our
database.
4. If the oil field is productive, we will start the construction of the experiment facility there.
5. We would have recovered our exploration cost if the experiment had not collapsed on us.
Response to Task 2
As a part-time student of IMCO, the most significant challenge is managing the extensive
course along with a full-time job. It also gives me undue disadvantage because I am not able to
apply for more credit points which makes it harder for me to complete the course on time.
I have decided to apply for academic support which will help me manage my job, course
and personal life a little better and communicating with professors in order to understand the
course materials better. The course can help me climb the position ladder in my company and
that has been helping in motivation when I feel disoriented while trying to juggle with the job.
The financial flexibility which was the main reason why I opted for this challenge has been
paying me back as I will be eligible for a better career prospect at the end of the course.
