Education is the vehicle which helped kids to use education and knowledge as wings to
reach the highest levels. This essay is based on the available information about school. It outlines
about the relevancy of schools in a child's growth and development. This highlights about the
importance and contribution of education for their future and earning livelihood. The overall
impact of establishing schools in both local and global levels has accelerated the growth in all the
spheres of an individual's life by making them to push their capacities and reach the objective or
goal. They learn about significance of team work, motivation and place of reliable and unbiased
information. Additionally, there is rise of evolutionary changes with advent of technological
advancements and globalization, these acted as tools and promoted schools and eduction in more
progressive manner.
Before embarking on its relevancy, an understanding must be laid in its formulation and
historical background. Earlier days, the schools were meant for men to learn about trading and
women were given lessons on how to make good house-wives. Kids were schooled through
sharing experiences, farming and imparting teachings in the mass gatherings. There was no
concept of higher studies since the necessities like food, water and shelter were more significant
to be fulfilled (Popkewitz and et.al., 2018). With passing time, the formation of schools were
initiated where the elite class children were given education. However, the dream to study in
school by the masses or other classes were still far and considered among the luxurious objects.
This concept was changed after the World War II which ended the colonisation and marked the
beginning of free world. The USA Government started this trend to send their soldiers and other
professionals for college as it formed the basis of a better future and source of earning income
after getting retired from the army. In the Vietnam War era, the masses were also promoted to
pursue education and brought radical changes in the American world. In regard to the above,
school is originated from a Greek word meaning leisure, lecture place and philosophy and are
refereed as the place for instructions in providing the educational teachings under an organized
structure by professionals such as teachers, academic counsellor, guide, mentor etc. The ulterior
purpose is to transmit knowledge and different meanings of several issues and subjects.
School is imperative in developing their cognitive abilities, emotional quotient, IQ levels
and learning about new concepts and ideas. Nelson Mandela once said “Education is the most
powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”. These educational institutions play

abilities. The prime focus is to make these children physically and psychologically fit as well
