Project M01 Education is the vehicle which helped kids to use education and knowledge as wings to reach the highest levels. This essay is based on the available information about school. It outlines about the relevancy of schools in a child's growth and development. This highlights about the importance and contribution of education for their future and earning livelihood. The overall impact of establishing schools in both local and global levels has accelerated the growth in all the spheres of an individual's life by making them to push their capacities and reach the objective or goal. They learn about significance of team work, motivation and place of reliable and unbiased information. Additionally, there is rise of evolutionary changes with advent of technological advancements and globalization, these acted as tools and promoted schools and eduction in more progressive manner. Before embarking on its relevancy, an understanding must be laid in its formulation and historical background. Earlier days, the schools were meant for men to learn about trading and women were given lessons on how to make good house-wives. Kids were schooled through sharing experiences, farming and imparting teachings in the mass gatherings. There was no concept of higher studies since the necessities like food, water and shelter were more significant to be fulfilled (Popkewitz and et.al., 2018). With passing time, the formation of schools were initiated where the elite class children were given education. However, the dream to study in school by the masses or other classes were still far and considered among the luxurious objects. This concept was changed after the World War II which ended the colonisation and marked the beginning of free world. The USA Government started this trend to send their soldiers and other professionals for college as it formed the basis of a better future and source of earning income after getting retired from the army. In the Vietnam War era, the masses were also promoted to pursue education and brought radical changes in the American world. In regard to the above, school is originated from a Greek word meaning leisure, lecture place and philosophy and are refereed as the place for instructions in providing the educational teachings under an organized structure by professionals such as teachers, academic counsellor, guide, mentor etc. The ulterior purpose is to transmit knowledge and different meanings of several issues and subjects. School is imperative in developing their cognitive abilities, emotional quotient, IQ levels and learning about new concepts and ideas. Nelson Mandela once said “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”. These educational institutions play
essential role in developing reading skills, understanding basic mathematical calculations, knowing about the historical events and its impact on the political scenarios all around the world, working towards employing the economic terminologies and for several other purposes (Bundy and et.al., 2018).There are illustrations that inferred that education is that platform which is needed for uplifting the stigmas attached with the socio-economic aspects. With schooling, an individual is able to gain insights about the right and wrongdoings with a perspective to regulate the rights in accordance like a responsible person. It helps in giving them time and proper resources to examine and explore several subjects efficiently and use it later on practical terms. The focus while designing an outline involves learning environment for receiving the formal education and is followed by nourishing the young minds in the most compassionate and appropriate ways. Moreover, schools are the places where kids not only learn about several subjects, principles or moral values but also find themselves, their interests and their own passion or hobbies. For instance, school conducts co-curricular activities like organizing dance activities, skit or poem recital competitions, sports events such as basketball, lawn tennis etc. which assist kids in developing their interests and follow them through proper channels. The schools are the churches which laid the platform of logic, reasoning and analytical abilities. The prime focus is to make these children physically and psychologically fit as well (Ainscow, 2018). Moreover, they help the children to maintain their traditional concepts and cultural values to mark a place at the societal norms and stand for themselves and differentiate between the rights and wrongs. Consequently, the teachers are important to this school and its existence. Without their presence, schools have no contribution in shaping the future of kids, children and promote the well-being of their existence as a social and responsible human being in the communities. School is useful in educating the adults and children about the philosophical side as well. The prime aim is to foster relationships and friendships in a healthy environment to make the kids realise the value of family and works given to them for completion. This teaches kids to attain the wealth of knowledge and information in terms of languages, literature, economics, geographical features and more.Herein, the schools must be the safest place for kids who spend majority of their time on daily basis and till the time they enter the adulthood. There are several levels such as preschool, kindergarten, elementary school, middle school, high school, college, university and graduate school. Mostly these are regulated by the Department of

Project M02 Nelson Mandela is one of the renowned personalities who has contributed immensely in the society. He is that celebrated political leader who worked for the upliftment of the society, especially his community people and fought against the apartheid. His early life was devoted towards a remarkable journey which epitomised him as an international hero. His followers believed that he fought like a one man army and won all the obstacles in the most remarkable manner. His laurels contains the cult Nobel Prize for Peace in the year 1993 and received a wide pool of honours which is more than 250 in number. Madiba was one of his popular names and was refereed as the “Father of the Nation”. His democratic and non-violent approaches led to his victory of providing rights to the black African community. In addition to this, he was the Anti-apartheid revolutionary who became the first Black President and who elected democratically under the African National Congress (ANC) which fought relentlessly for the removal of racism and apartheid practices. His early life shaped the personality he turned into where he was born to the third wife of his father, Gadla who stood against the unreasonable demands of the White Magistrate. He was born in Umtata, one of the provinces of South Africa's Cape town and was sent to a local Methodist school where he received his English forename of Nelson. He was influenced from the traditional and cultural aspects of the Africa and completed his education from exclusive black institutions. There was a time when he actively protested against the white to protect the black people from the atrocities of prejudiced concepts in the entire world. Consequently, he consistently put efforts to abolish the ill practices against the black community in all the spheres of societal levels. He was the forefront runner who stood for his people's independence and justice. His fought against the racial discrimination and the prevalent social inequalities like adopting to apartheid practices on Black people. He was popularly named as the Gandhi of South Africa who boycotted the system of racial segregation. In the year 1962, he was sent to jail for dismantling the manipulations and several trails against the black people to overthrow the government. Thus, he was sent for lifetime imprisonment and at 44 years age until 1990. During his time at the prison, he never defended himself and discarded the false accusations and charges levied on him. However, he was offered by the government to get released under certain conditions. The most prominent was to never participate in any political activities. This was instantly rejected by Mandela who stated that he cannot and would never give any undertaking at a time when he and they with all the other people were not free. He further added that his freedom and theirs cannot be separated (Pick and Irma, 2018). This iconic statement showed his real commitment and passion towards abolishing the apartheid, which was one of the oppressive practices adopted against the Black community and were clear violation of human rights. His courage, sacrifice and dedication towards his people showed his willingness which made him earned a Law Bachelor Degree. In addition to this, his struggle was widespread like a fire and the government were pressurised from both local and international levels. His release brought an unconventional movement and pave the path of his presidency and the Nobel Peace Prize. His courage and far- sightedness ability led South Africa on the world-map, the first democratic elections made him the first Black President and under his supervision, they hosted the World Cup for Rugby in 1995 which earned them credibility and gave a benchmark to make their presence felt as a young republic country. There were many hurdles during this tenure but he outshone every time due to his remarkable abilities. He established a strong foundation for the South Africa as a country in terms of centralised government, formulation of new constitution, freedom of expression and the rights of minorities (Turner and Myra, 2018). He took an early leave from the active politics but this retirement was another golden phase of his remarkable journey. Throughout his retirement
phase, he worked hard in advocating education for young kids and children to eradicate poverty. Along with this, he became a philanthropist who raised money etc. and established several schools and health clinic to generate awareness regarding the diseases and other illegal activities that got spread on the African continent. In 2001 when he was diagnosed with prostate cancer and this forced him to take retirement from his formal public life in 2004 and spent his last days in his native village called as Qunu. His contribution cannot be described in words. For instance, even after his complete retirement, he co-founded a group with other world leaders to find solutions for issues at both public and private sectors. It has been concluded that Nelson Mandela till last breadth in 2013 gave heart and soul for the betterment of this world and the Black community. On his end, Bill Clinton stated that"Today the world has lost one of its most important leaders and one of its finest human beings. History will remember Nelson Mandela as a champion for human dignity and freedom, for peace and reconciliation" (Xinfeng, 2018).Lastly, he channelised his energies into constructive works and used his early learnings from his childhood for the welfare of his community people. He always believed in humanity and equality by promoting the unified emotion and encouraged unified efforts through a landmark journey left behind to follow by the coming generations.
