Introduction
What are myths? There are varying definitions of what is the meaning of myth. Myths are
the stories of the tradition that were created and established in the olden days that were
frequently highlighting supernatural characters and they also presented some explanations for the
supernatural spectacles. Mythology is an assemblage of myths and stories about a definite
individual, philosophy, faith or any collection with common beliefs. The mythology is not
considered by most individuals to be true but some believe in them and take them with much
concern because they believe that if they do not obey the myths, they might come across a bad
luck or the specific consequences that befall those who do not obey.

their world and they have also learned how they are supposed to carry out themselves in the
society. The second importance is from Joseph Campbell who brings out his argument in this
manner; he says that myth has four ways in which it sows it importance to the society. One, it
familiarizes the members of the society the spiritual pathway of clarification. Second, it
withdraws a sense of astonishment, third, it aids the religious cosmology and forth is that it
supports the social order.
My research question. Why are myths all-pervading in the present society than anyone could
have ever imagined?
Answer: It is true that myths are present in the society than anyone could have imagined. This
is because in a progressively international society, myth is a worldwide language. The supermen
in the mythical movies converse universal values in their conflict against evil. In indentures
where the nonconcrete theories of scholars are out of touch, and worthless, stories interconnect
more efficiently and more collectively. In conclusion to this information, in a progressively
nonreligious age, mythical movies and literature convey the certainties that religion had
conventionally conveyed.
Inherent values of myths to our culture. The inherent value of myths to our culture is that
people from different culture have learned to cooperate with each other in peace and unity.
Through cultural practices, people have been able to learn more human values to the society such
as hard work, respect and the comprehension of other people’s cultures. One way that the myths
lesson is applicable today is that children have become more obedient to their parents and follow
their instructions, (Roush pg. 300).
