Question 1
The peer review of the draft of the assignments provides the composer of the assignment
with some of the important feedbacks that would help in the proper composition of the
concerned assignment. The peer review of the assignment would help in the composition of a
better version of the assignment. The peer review of the assignments helps in the development of
the communication among the students who have been studying in the same class. The
importance of the peer review lies in the development of the levels of learning of the peers
(Nicholas et al., 2015). The implementation of the peer review within the article helps in the
creation of the normalcy and the comfort for the student for the receipt of the constructive
feedback for the work.
The major steps for the peer review of the draft as composed by a peer includes the
thorough reading of the concerned document. They should have a clear understanding of the
feedback form that has been shared with them for providing the feedback. The peers should point
out the strengths and the weaknesses of the concerned paper (Koshy et al., 2018). The reviewers
should be advised to put forth the constructive comments which in turn might help in the
development of the paper.
Question 2
The acronym FACT stands for the Fits, Add, Cut and Test (Reinking et al., 2007). The
FACT model is used to evaluate the complete assignment in discussion. The student is advised to
have a better understanding of the composition of the assignment and the various elements that
are required for the composition of the essay (Masic, 2016). The first step of the assignment is to
determine the ability of the assignment to address the key requirements. The second step that

should be discussed in the model is the addition of the various factors that the composer might
have missed while composing the assignment in the first chance. The third step involves the
deduction of the unwanted materials that are presented within the given assignment. This helps
in the development of the assignment and the alignment of the knowledge in terms of the
requirements of the assignment. The last step of the model is Test. In this part, the composer of
the assignment is known to maintain the smoothness in the flow of the information from one
point to the other. Seeber and Bacchelli (2017) state that the FACT process is important for the
proper composition of the assignment as well as helps the concerned student to compose a better-
quality assignment through the revision after the completion of the assignment.
Journal Entry
The rough draft of the assignment that I have composed can be edited in order to deliver
the assignment in a better manner. The assignment might be edited in order to take care of the
issues in terms of the grammar and the structure of the sentences. The assignment can also be
revised with the inclusion of the information that is presented within the given document. The
assignment further needs to incorporate more information on the conditions of drought that had
taken place in the country of Africa. The organization of the assignment can also be improved
with the improvement in the style of composition and the inclusion of the relevant information in
a more organized manner. This would help in the development of the assignment and thereby
helping in the presenting the better quality in the researches that I have undertaken. The
assignment might also face a proper improvement of the presentation of the facts. The
assignment should maintain a proper flow of the information that is discussed within the given
assignment. The maintenance of the logical flow of the information within the assignment that is
being presented to the assessor for his perusal. The recommendation section of the assignment

could also be improved with the incorporation of better recommended measures in order to
resolve the issue that is presented in Africa.
