INTRODUCTIONEthical behaviour plays a vital role in achieving the overall business success as it guidesthe business organisations in forming adequate plans and polices regarding the working structureof the organisation. Ethical behaviour is generally defined as conducting the business activitieswith honesty and dignity. This is also concerned with safeguarding the interest of consumers andsociety in which business is being done(Zhu, Sun and Leung, 2014). Two businessorganisations chosen for this report is Marks and Spencer and Zara. M&S is the leading fashionretailer company which was founded in 1884. Whereas Zara is also a leading fashion retailerwhich aims at attracting more and more customer's and increasing the market share. Theorganisation was founded in 1974. The major topics covered in this report is issues faces by theorganisations regarding their ethical activities and practices and the steps taken by both of theorganisations in overcoming the challenges and problems(Biggemann, William and Kro, 2014).Sub Topic 1The key issue faced by Marks and Spencer is the demonstration of ethical behaviour inachieving the business success. The company aims at providing proper quality of products to thecustomers to satisfy their need and want. Organisation is doing this by manufacturing goodquality products and gaining the trust of its potential buyers. Organisation is also involved invarious ethical activities which is influencing its business in negative and positive manner(Su,2014).The organisation aims at becoming top most sustainable fashion retailer but whileperforming its business activities its supply chain activities is getting influenced in positivemanner. Company is trying to perform its business in the fair and desirable manner. Marks andSpencer wants to fulfil the expectations of its employees and customer in the best possiblemanner. Company is currently working with 70 countries with almost 2000 factories and thefocus of the organisation is supply chain dependent. This means the management of theorganisation wants to perform activities in fairly manner. For achieving this organisation hasmade some necessary chances in the packaging strategies(Ethical behaviour of Marks andSpencer ,2018). M&S has also introduced Eco factories in various parts of the world such asUK, China and Turkey. With the help of this strategy company was able to achieve its ethicalgoals in the sustainable manner.
