INTRODUCTION
The present study is based on “The Visitor”. This film is all about the Walter who was
the college professor. He went to New York to deliever the conference paper. The person met
with the three main characters Tarek, Zainab and Mouna. The meeting with these characters have
changed the life of Walter and it has given new experience to the Walter Vale. Report will
discuss the way Walter relates to other people. The changes have occurred in his life after
loosing his wife will be described in this essay. Furthermore, experience of Walter of living in
NYC will be illustrated in this study.
MAIN BODY
Death of Walter's wife has changed the life of Walter. After her death he became very
rude and do not take interest in any work. He became unsocial person and do not communicate
with others (Cattani and et.al, 2014). He has become disinterested and disengaged person.
Loneliness has made him irritating, that is why he does not talk to any person properly. For
example when he met with Zainab and Tarek in the New York then also initially Walter has
reacted badly. After listening the story of Tarek and Zainab some changes in his behaviour has
occurred. He became little soft and has made his mind to help the Tarek. Earlier experience of
Walter was that people are very selfish and they do not support each other. For example when he
has lost his wife then life of the Walter got transformed. He was feeling alone which has made
him rude person. He does not like to talk with others and if he makes communication then do not
give proper response to others (Chang, 2014). After meeting with Mouna, Walter has become
more communicative and sensitive. He transformed his behaviour and now wanted to help Tarek.
Initially Walter was very rude and irritating person but meting with these three persons have
drastically changed life of the person. His behaviour became little soft and now he has become
social person. This has helped in living his life smoothly and forgetting his bad memories.
The loss of his wife was the surprised news for the Walter. After her death he has become
unsocialized person but after listening the story of Zainab, Mouna and Tarek he melts and his
behaviour got changed for the society. The major changes that has occurred in the behaviour of
Walter was that he communicates properly with other persons and understand their requirements.
He behaves softly with them and his attitude has become completely changed. Now he takes
interest in other activities and are able to concentrate on his work properly. Now Walter
expressed his views effectively to others and his mental condition has improved to great extent.

understand their problem as well. He has become soft in nature and cooperative as well. After
death of his wife Walter felt dishearten and he became unable to metally present in the society
but after meeting with these three person his mental presence have been improved that shows in
his learning for musical instruments.

Mounk has finished all documents and has left the country. When Walter has got to know about
all these things then he decided to help the Tarek. His experience about the society was very bad
because he realised that people can use them and individual can be trapped in their net. This
incident has changed life and behaviour of the Walter, his emotional and mental skills have been
improved to great extent. This positive transformation has supported the person in living happy
life. His learning skills has been developed because now he is able to mentally present in the
situation. He does not feel dishearten and has become positive towards the society and
population.
