1.0 Introduction
A lesson plan is created for the purpose of meeting course objectives. The following scope
involves creation of a 60 minutes reading lesson plan for a monolingual class of students of 18
upper-intermediate (b2) students, 10 women, 8 men. The students are young adults in age group
18-24 years of age. A communicative speaking activity is included as part of the procedure along
with materials and aids (Diaz-Rico 2007).
2.0 Teacher Language
Teacher will make presentations for checking vocabulary of students and include a planned
comprehension task (Hill 2013).

English TEFL lesson plans will include worksheets, handouts, activities along with other ideas
through which classes can be properly conducted (Goldenberg 2008). This current lesson plan
includes activities as reading comprehension, writing small sentences and listening. All these
activities congruently will be able to deliver goals for the students, which is to achieve high
proficiency in English language skills.

be estimated against set standards to understand student’s understanding levels.

Materials for the purpose of lesson plan includes ;

playing movies or programs.
