Introduction
In an organization, there are various roles which are required to be followed by the management
and in that various challenges are faced. This is mainly due to the changing global environment
and they need to be considered in an appropriate manner. It is necessary that they shall be
identified on time so that steps to overcome them can be taken in effective manner. All of the
challenges which are faced and the steps taken for them will be discussed in the essay below.
Challenges faced in the leadership
Leadership includes influencing others to perform in the required manner for the attainment of
the target. There are various aspects which are required to be noted by any leader and are to be
taken into account in the process of leadership (Maranga and Sampayo, 2015). While performing
their tasks they will be facing various challenges which are required to be taken into account on a
serious note.
Personal challenges are involved in which emotional dimensions are involved and a leader is
required to deal with the different cultures and mindsets. There are conflicts which arise due to
some personal interests which are involved in the workplace.
External challenges are also there which are not in the control of the leader. This is the situation
which arises when the dependency on others increases for the various requirements and
resources (Watkins, 2012). They are the sources which are in the control of others and leader will
not have any control over them. There are personal communications which are established and
certain issues arise in them with time.
Technological issues are also faced in the business as the development is taking place in this
field and that affects the business. It is required that the processes of the company are also
developed in accordance with the technological changes. The circumstances in which the
company is not able to perform in this respect leads to arising of several issues. They are not able
to cope with the market and the competition which is present in the market.
The population is growing at a rapid rate and that also acts as the challenge for the leaders. The
needs of all increase and for that additional source are required. There are limited resources
