Background
Enterprise Mobile App is an application created to enhance the efficiency of the work, make any
job in an enterprise to be very efficient and allows smooth operations in the business. Various
organization and companies are days today trying to start up some initiatives which allow
workers to be connected to the company through using of mobile App. Mobile App in the
business is assisting in closing any gap which is presence. The project about the development of
the mobile App in the business comes after there were reported cases of fraud in monitoring the
attendance in the company (Wang et al., 2015).
And as a result, there was a need for good monitoring equipment in the business. The authority
of establishing a biometric attendance system was driven by the management of the institution
and various companies as a way of reducing time theft and abuse of attendance. Since the
biometric system gives additional security then the terminal of the biometric can be used to scan
the fingerprints of every an individual and as a result, the employee's attendance is accurately
logged.
Proposed solution
The reason for establishing the biometric attendance system is that through using this system
then employee’s attendance can be monitored. Also, the proposed system will help in reducing
the cases of attendance fraud in that it helps to stops the manipulation of attendance thus the
system will produce accurate results of attendance. The system also will reduce the human
efforts where a human being could do calculations about the attendance, this exercise was time-
consuming and the sometimes the results would be inaccurate thus attendance of the employees
in the company was very poor. The department of information technology should be improving
