Introduction and Purpose
The project involves the construction of the luxury resort by Four
Seasons at Riviera Maya with an aim to increase the overall
market shares and customer experience levels. There are
different elements that are involved in such project and
communication is one of the critical aspects of the project. It is
necessary that the internal and external project communications
are effectively carried out and managed so that the flow of the
project information is correctly done.
The purpose of the document is to bring out the different
techniques and strategies that will be utilized for the project
communication activities.
Communications Management
The communication management in the project will be carried out
by the Project Manager, Functional Manager, and the Program
Manager.
The communication plan that is being prepared will be circulated
to all the members of the project team and the resources
assigned to the project. It will also be shared with the internal and
external stakeholders so that all the entities are aware of the
communication guidelines to be followed (Sarhadi, 2016). The
project communications will be in accordance with the ethical
protocols and regulatory requirements. The use of the automated
tools, such as web conferencing tools, document management
tools, social media channels, and reporting tools will also be done
for the purpose of effective communications in the project.
