Introduction
Enterprise System is a basic need of an organization in the present era, as most of the business
functions have required high level of performance and efficiency. This report will analyze the
challenges in the implementation of enterprise system and it analyses the integration process of
an enterprise system for an organization. An enterprise system can manage various types of
business functions, as financial systems, sales systems, marketing systems, transaction systems,
decision-making systems, and many more1.
This report will explain the financial systems implementation through an enterprise system for an
organization. This report will provide lack in implementation process and upgrade of enterprise
systems in an organization. It will provide opinion of authors about the implementation process
of enterprise system as well as some weaknesses about the article.
Upgrading an enterprise system
There are many types of systems that work in an organization to manage its procedures in a
proper way. In addition, there are many centralized systems used for managing various business
processes of an organization. In this selected article, the authors have explained the challenges of
implementation of enterprise system for a financial system. In addition, Structured-pragmatic-
situational (SPS) approach has been used to describe the resilience of the management
framework. SPS includes three strategies, which are executing restoration plans, demystifying
threats, and developing situational awareness. There are many other factors have provided by the
authors to describe the failure of firms to leverage their investments in implementation of
enterprise systems. This article has provided different stages for managers to upgrade their
enterprise systems2.
There are main three factors for upgrading an enterprise system, which improves capabilities of
the system, removes bugs from current system, and upgrades newer products. There are many
benefits of those factors in the business of an organization in terms of revenue and profit.
Moreover, upgrade process has required high cost in implementation of newer system based on
the requirements of the clients and systems as well. The implementation process has critically
faced various challenges in upgrade process 3.

However, some capabilities make a huge impact on the implementation processes of an
enterprise system. In addition, no one can give guarantee a successful upgrade of enterprise
system, as it has many interlinked processes. Therefore, it takes time and cost as well as many
efforts. In addition, enterprise system and IT governance makes huge impact on the growth of
the organization4.
Resilience management
This is a new concept for the management of various older processes from new processes. It
reduces risky environments using various strategies. It is necessary to identify basic things about
the upgrade process and used them for upgrade processes. The authors have provided a good
literature review to describe upgrade process and resilience process of enterprise systems. There
are many advantages of situational awareness in the implementation of enterprise systems. This
article has provided various definitions of resilience management through examples. Entries
systems have a proper architecture to improve performance 5.
In this article, managerial mindfulness and situational awareness have described in the details,
which are highly required of the implementation process of the management. It has described the
unexpected occurrence of various risks in the implementation process. This article has explained
the organizational vulnerabilities based on the managerial mindfulness. In addition, enterprise
system is highly required to manage various business functions6.

used a qualitative approach for research and other works. In addition, it has provided two ways to
reduce inherent risks, which are managerial mindfulness, and organizational vulnerabilities. In
both terms, it has considered important factors of an enterprise system, which are system
performance, stakeholder expertise, systems accuracy, error screening, lack of skilled employees,
and user’s uncertainties9.
The authors have described the site selection with the example of an organization, which is PU
Corp. Moreover, the organization had taken some years to get over the
failure of its previous ES implementation, a method that had led to severe economic and
reputational harm10. Consequently, the enterprise was extraordinarily careful with this upgrade,

collection for various sources, which are interviews, articles, newspapers, primary data, reports,
and website information. This article has provided data analysis role in the research about the
enterprise system upgrade. It addition, primary data is important for the development and
implementation of enterprise systems11.
The authors have provided different steps for developing a resilience management framework,
which has used for the upgrade process of the enterprise system. Besides, situational awareness
development is the first stage of the upgrade process of an enterprise system. All the situations
must identify by the managing persons. The second step of this process is demystifying threats,
which has required reducing inherent risks of implementation process. In addition, the execution
process is important for the upgrade of an enterprise system, as restoration plan provides many
advantages to increase efficiency of the organization12.
It is necessary to create a proper management of resources using ERP and other software. In
addition, company should implement various systems for high level of management. However,
some vulnerability has existed in the systems8. However, some technical parts have not
described in this article, which is based on the implementation, such as change management, lack

which has made a direct impact on the organization.
Technologies are used for the improvement in the business and other things, which are matter a
lot for the company as well. In addition, there are many other benefits of the technologies and
innovations. Moreover, innovation and technologies provide many benefits to the organization.
In addition, research and development team is always working for the improvement. In addition,
there are many benefits of ERP systems in an organization to manage their business functions.
ERP systems have many objectives. Besides, many ERP systems are based on the functionality
of company as well.
In addition, there are many benefits of technologies in business and different areas, such as
education, medical, and many others. In addition, there are various features of different
technologies, which can be used in the various innovations in different industries. ERP systems
has used for the management of various functions of the industry, which can improve the
performance of the company as well. In addition, innovation and technologies are most required
things for business in present era. Moreover, most of the company has implemented ERP
systems to increase their performance.
Conclusion
It has concluded from the above mention sections of this report that various things are nectary for
the upgrade of enterprise systems, which are situational awareness, identification of threats, and
restoration plan. The authors have the well-explained role of people, processes, and primary data
in implementation or upgrade process of an enterprise system. This report has described the
challenges faced by an organization in the upgrade process of the enterprise system.
This report has provided a critical analysis of selected articles based on basic things, such as
methodology, procedure, and implementation. This report has also discussed the organizational
reputation and efficiency, which was based on the enterprise system. Finally, situational
awareness is necessary for an upgrade of an enterprise system because of many occurrences of
threats. Therefore, restoration plan should use to reduce inherent risks.
