INTRODUCTION
Entrepreneurial leadership can be described as a mindset that focuses on the organisation of
turning problems into opportunities and it also creates economic as well as social values. In this,
business success is dependent on the leadership skills of the entrepreneur (Akbari and et. al.,
2020). Entrepreneurial leader is one of leadership that consists of different types of actions to be
taken by a person in order to adopt innovation in an organisation and also taking actions that
provide benefits to different types of entrepreneurial opportunities. This project report includes
analysation of Mark Zuckerberg who is an entrepreneurial leader. The entrepreneur is the co-
founder of Meta Platforms and has adopted the most effective leadership which provide them
success. The entrepreneur has launched Facebook in the year 2004 with their roommates. On
basis of their long-term vision and effective leadership and entrepreneurial capability, they can
the success in the marketplace. This project report includes a critical evaluation of the role of
entrepreneurial leadership in the development of teams, ethical organization and people. It uses
different types of primary and secondary sources in order to develop understanding and
knowledge. Moreover, it critically analyses and applies theory and concepts to a different range
of real-world learning for business opportunities and challenges.

ethical organisation
Entrepreneurial leadership can be described as mindset which focuses on organisation that
turning on problem into opportunities in order to create social and economic values. Business
success is also dependent on different types of leadership skills for purpose of management of
company. Entrepreneurial leadership is considered as one of effective skills of leadership and
also it consists different types of actions for purpose of development of action. It is also
following innovation in organisation which allow business to take advantage of different types of
opportunities and also helps them to differentiate their services from others. It is a concept which
include entrepreneurial and leadership spirit (Al-Heneiti and Irtaimeh, 2021). There are different
terms of leadership which come interchangeable with each other. There are different types of
entrepreneurial qualities adopted by a person which make them more independent and also allow
them to guide different roles and also implement different types of strategies in business. It is

also a component which also reflect status of entrepreneurship of a leader. It is also used various
characteristics for leaders including considering risk, productive, strategic and interchanging,
evaluate various opportunities and others.
Mark Zuckerberg is one of the entrepreneur which posses different types of characteristics
related to entrepreneur and leadership which helps them to be more effective. The enterprise has
different skills which make them able to be successful. Mark Zuckerberg has played different
roles in their organisation which make them successful for manage people, team and
organisation. The entrepreneur has a long-term vision which allows them to make important
decisions of business by considering the future (Bagheri, Newman and Eva, 2022). It is essential
for them as it allows them for purpose of identify the long-term advantages and disadvantages of
entrepreneurial leadership. It will increase the chances of success for these people. Mark
Zuckerberg acquired Instagram in an early age as they have identified the increasing interest of
people in using this application. It provides success to them as it is a platform that is used by
youngsters in a more effective manner. Marks Zuckerberg is adopting open communication in
their organisation which helps them to bring out new ideas in the market and also helps them to
get success. It is one of the important characteristics which makes them more successful. Some
of role played by Mark Zuckerberg in entrepreneurial leadership are mentioned below:
Promote open communication: Entrepreneurial leadership helps different team members for
purpose of sharing of different types of ideas for purpose of attaining of common goals of the
business. It promotes encouragement for purpose of communication among different
departments at different levels. It Is essential in order to ignore ambiguities as well as
generalisation which assists to avoid misunderstandings and conflicts that take place due to poor
communication. On basis of it, different members are able to share their ideas and information
with each other (Harrison, Leitch and McAdam, 2018). It allows Mark Zuckerberg for purpose
of sharing different types of important information related to business and also to implement it in
an effective manner. It is also important for businesses as it allows them for the purpose of
understanding views of employees of different decisions.
Developing long-term vision for organisation: Successful entrepreneurial leadership is
important for purpose of developing a clear vision for the business. It helps entrepreneurs and
leaders to understand where they want to go in the future and also helps them to identify
different ways to reach there. It allows leaders of the organisation to communicate visions of

able to understand the problem faced by different team members. It is also important for the team
as it helps them for purpose of motivating team members to work as effective members and also
offering a solution to their problems related to work (Imran and Aldaas, 2020). Mark Zuckerberg
is one of entrepreneurial leader who is providing support to team members which enables them
to motivate teams to work without pressure. It is also important for them for purpose of
promoting creativity among them.
Share success and also involved: Entrepreneurial leader are also play an important role for
purpose of getting success in the organisation. It is important for successful entrepreneur to does
not get all the credit for success alone but also needs to share it with other members.
Entrepreneurial leaders also need to find sometimes to interact with members of the company. It
is essential for them in order to spend time with employees and also to walk around the different
department, monitor workers about how they are doing their work. It will provide assistance to
leaders in order to understand different challenges that occur at the workplace and also them to
implement changes in the organisation.
Mark Zuckerberg play all the important role related to entrepreneurial leadership as it helps them
for purpose of managing different people in the workplace. There are around 77,805 employees
who are working in Meta Platforms. These employees belong from different places and
backgrounds. It is difficult for them to cooperate with each other for purpose of attaining of goals
of the business. For this, Entrepreneurial leadership is adopted by Mark Zuckerberg as it allows
them to understand this diversity in people and also it assists them for the purpose of managing
people in an effective and efficient manner (Latif and et. al., 2020). Entrepreneurial leadership
also helps Mark Zuckerberg for purpose of the development of the team. It enables them to
develop common goals for different members which allows them to develop the team. The
Entrepreneurial leader also makes efforts for ensuring proper coordination and cooperation in the

of team and also ethical organisation.
Leadership theories:
There are different types of leadership theories that can be adopted by businesses in different
types of situations. It is important for business in order to different types of challenges occur in
business (Wu and et. al., 2021). It helps businesses for purpose of identifying threats and making
efforts to overcome of it. Some of these theories of leadership to be adopted different leaders and
entrepreneur are mentioned below:
Great Man Theory: It is one of the leadership theory which was introduced in the 19th century.
According to this theory, Great leader are born with certain qualities and cannot be developed
with learning and development. According to that time, leadership is a quality which is
associated with only males therefore, it is named as great man theory. But with time, leadership
qualities are seen in women (Leitch and Harrison, 2018). According to this, some people are
born with certain attributes and these traits are responsible for these people assuming authority
and power. This theory has faced various criticism as many traits required in a leader according
to this theory are belongs to men. It is also is not relevant in today’s time as people in present
time, that people can develop leadership traits and it is not compulsory for them to born with
these traits.
Trait theory of leadership: It is also a theory that is based on characteristics of different leaders
in both successful and unsuccessful manners. It is used for purpose of predicting of the
effectiveness of leaders. It is a theory that helps to identify different types of characteristics of a
person including demographic, task-related, personality, self-confidence, physiological,
intellective and others (Liu, Zhou and Wang, 2022). There are some characteristics in successful
leaders like interest, ability as well as personality traits that help to make a leader less effective.
Some of these characteristics to be identified by a person includes achievement drive, leadership
motivation, emotional maturity, knowledge of business, cognitive ability honesty and others.
It is one of successful theory as it is a pleasing theory and also consists of different types of
research. It is based on different types of research which is based on foundations. It also reflects
proper understanding and knowledge of elements of leaders in the context of the leadership
process. It also has some limitations as there are sometimes disagreements occur among people
in context to traits and others things.

From above mentioned leadership theories. It is identified that Mark Zuckerberg is adopting trait
theory in order to lead the team and also for managing the workforce. This entrepreneur has to
possess some of the traits to be possessed by great leaders. It provides them opportunities in the
marketplace and also helps them to take advantage to become the first mover.
Opportunities and threats:
There are number of opportunities occur for Facebook which allow Mark Zuckerberg to be more
successful entrepreneur. These opportunities is important for purpose of growth and success of
the company. On basis of identifying these growth opportunities, business managers are able to
develop different types of strategies for business. Explanations of some of these opportunities in
context to Facebook is mentioned below:
Increasing number of Facebook user: There is an increase in the number of people who are
using Facebook in the mobile device. It provides an opportunity for businesses as they can get
access to data of many users which is important for them to understand the needs and
requirements to customers (Megheirkouni, Thirlwall and Mejheirkouni, 2020). On basis of it, it
is easier for firms to show relatable advertisements to these customers. It allows business to
increase their income by increasing the chances of selling products with their platform. It is also
important for purpose of increasing the popularity of apps among people. It makes their
organisation more recognisable and allows them for purpose of increasing more profit.
Expansion of China: Expansion of business in China will create various opportunities for
Facebook. China is one of the country where the education rate is high and also people are
familiar with using technology. Due to this, maximum population of that country is using Smart
phones. It is important for business as it allows them for the purpose of an increasing number of
users in that country. It will also increase the reach of the company and its marketing share.
Diversity source revenue: Facebook is an organisation that can more opportunities in the
marketplace by diversifying different sources of revenue. It is important for them as it allows
them for purpose of access to a different source for purpose of earning more income. It is
important for the company to earn more money and also to diversity risk of income (Miao and et.
al., 2019). As if one of the sources of income has stopped, businesses can earn money from other
sources of money.
There are also different types of threats to be faced by the business. It is important for them for
purpose of identifying these threats in business which is important for them to solve different

types of problems that occur in business and also for overcoming of it. Explanations of different
types of threats to be faced by businesses are mentioned below:
Increasing number of mobile internet user: Facebook as number of users in their organisation
as current it has 600 million people who are using this social media platform (Sarabi and et. al.,
2020). Even after this number of user, company is only responsible for purpose of 14% income
for purpose of business. This organisation is facing difficult for monetising mobile users due to
which there is decrease in mobile advertisement.
Identity thefts: Facebook is one of the social media platform where many people has made fake
ID and also stolen data and also involved in other theft. All these things are creating harm for
purpose of the image of the company (Soomro, Shah and Mangi, 2018). This organisation is
unable to protect private information of their users which create a negative impact over their
brand image.
CONCLUSION
From above mentioned project report, it can be concluded that entrepreneurial leadership is one
of the important components which allow leaders for purpose of effectively managing different
tasks and activities of the business. It is essential to possess different types of entrepreneurial
skills and leadership traits as it allows them to face various complete situations that occur in the
marketplace. It is important for business as it allows them for the purpose of identifying different
types of opportunities to be take place in the marketplace and also taking advantage of it. On
basis of it, it is also easier for entrepreneurial leader for purpose of identifying threat and
overcoming of it. There are different types of entrepreneurial leadership theories that can be
adopted by entrepreneur in their organisation. It is important for them in order to deal with
different types of situation.
