INTRODUCTION
Entrepreneurial is a process in which an individual comes up with an innovative and
creative idea and try to convert that idea into reality through the use of available resources and
allocation of required finances. Starting up a business which idea is innovative and new to the
market enables it in gaining the competitive advantage into the market place. Starting up a new
and innovative business is not an easy task (Apostolakos, 2019). It requires a lot of planning and
organising of various resources. Planning and organising of resources may include the raw
materials needed, layout planning about the operations of business, the human resource planning
and so on. IT also involves the analyses of external business environment also. In this the market
analyses is performed in which the current and future trends get examined by the entrepreneur.
This report discusses about the business plan. The idea is to open up a business of a
restaurant which is based upon the Vegan concept. The report includes the information about the
business operational plan, market analyses, USP or competitor analyses, risk and contingency
plan and sales plan. Apart from this the report also includes the plan related to finances and about
the management team which would be needing in the business.

The idea of the business is to start up a restaurant upon the vegan concept. From the
market research it has been analysed that now the people has become very much serious about
their eating habits. They have shifting their eating habits form the junk to healthy vegetables and
fruits. The business would be targeting the customers who prefer to eat healthy food. From the
research done about the trends and the preference of the customers in the today time, it has
observed that the people start denying eating the non vegetarian food. There are various reasons
behind leaving the non vegetarian food and shifting towards the vegetarian, some of these
reasons include increase in heart related disease from eating non vegetarian food, harmless
killing of animals, more health and mental related issues and the like (Bulatova, 2018). A slow
but continuous shift has been seen with respect to the food habits of the people. They become
more conscious about their intakes as they prefer to take more healthy food. By analysing this
opportunity, the idea of establishing a vegan restaurant came up. The restaurant also has planned
to grow their own vegetables and raw materials possible at their backyard as this would enable in

saving the cost and also the fresh materials would be provided to the customers. The restaurant
has planned to set their décor in such a way that it matches with the concept of restaurant upon
which it has been establish. Apart from that the menu or the food dishes which would be
provided to the customers will be very new, innovative and tasty. The more focus would be on
salads as this is something which are more in demand by the people. Apart from this the drinks
provided by our restaurant would includes fresh juices and shakes, sugar free coke, diet coke,
and the drinks which are healthy for any human body (Bacon and Tate, 2019).

The location at which the restaurant is establish would at major or main market. The
major purpose for establishing or opening up the restaurant at the main market is to attract the
focus of as much customer as the restaurant can. Main market would be that place where the rush
of the people will be very huge. This will attract and also aware the customers about the
restaurant and concept it has brought for the customers. The exact location of the restaurant will

The industry analysis can be performed through using the porter 5 forces model. The
application of this model with regard to this business of opening up a vegan restaurant can be as

Threat of new entrances: The threat of new entrance becomes high when that industry has a

entrance and exits of organisation in a particular industry is high, then the number of
