Perspective
The disposition of Louis Roy has been positive towards solving problems for the
employees and the central thought of Louis Roy is "Entrepreneurship s regarding the
creation of jobs along with wealth with the different ideas”. Louis tried to anticipate the
spread of the counterfeit drugs in challenging the pharmaceutical companies, and he decided
to identify a solution (Ey.Com. 2019).
Louis Roy has tried to prove the level of embracing innovation which can create
growth which will lead to quality jobs around the world. The personality of Louis Roy is
inspiring as he tried to gain opportunity as to help the society in facing upside of disruption.
Louis Roy is a visionary leader whose main aim was the trusted social responsibility which
will enable the organisation to take the full advantage of the benefits of CSR principles and
become transparent.
Discussion of Personality Traits and Characteristics
Louis Roy is the President of Optel Group which is the leading provider of
traceability and inspection systems has been announced as the Entrepreneur of the Year by
EY. The dominant personality traits of Louis Roy are inclusive of the following:
Passion- It is one of the dominant personality traits of Louis Roy as he is successful
in performing the different activities in achieving the different business-related activities and
to make the business successful and flourish (Krueger 2017).
Self-Starter and Proactive- Louis Roy is the founder of Optel Group as he always
wanted to be his boss and pursue his ideas and financial rewards. The parameters are being
set by him, and he tried to analyse and identify that the projects are following the respective

path and they are proactive as they do not wait for the approval of others (Wright and Wallis
2015).
Confidence and Disciplined- Louis Roy is one of the successful entrepreneurs as he
has faith in everything which is performed by him in the business. The main desire of Louis
Roy is to improve along with transforming everything which touches and which guides the
business decisions appropriately. Due to his disciplined attitude, Louis Roy has been focused
on making the business work. He developed corporate socially responsible enterprises which
have helped in creating new positive trends in society and creating positive business values or
goals (Liñán and Fayolle 2015).
Identification and Exploitation of Opportunity
Louis Roy has tried to identify the opportunity for the sustainable growth of the

There has been no change in the entrepreneurial capabilities of Louis Roy as the

primary motive was to help the society and engage others in the company to make the same
irrespective of profitability (Garud, Gehman and Tharchen 2018).

Louis Roy had tried to identify the entrepreneurship opportunity when he anticipated
the spread of the different drugs which are fake and imitated. He felt that he could take the
particular situation as an opportunity to improve the position of the society and make it a
better place to live in. While Optel Group has been famous and it has become top supplier
worldwide, Louis Roy introduced mission and vision in which the safety of the society was
the first and foremost responsibility of the company.
Stage of Current Business
Optel Group was and is the top supplier in the worldwide and in the present scenario
the clients are some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. Louis has proven the
embracing innovation has helped in creating growth which has led to quality jobs around the
world, and it will be contributing towards the better world.
