Gibb's Reflective Model
Description
The business plan that I have prepared is based on the concept of affordable tiles which
will be manufactured using recycled plastic and the waste products. The main motto behind this
idea was to promote the use of waste materials in manufacturing of products and reduce the
waste as much as possible by putting it to use (Adeani, Febriani, and Syafryadin, 2020.). I have
named my business manufacturing unit as Enviro tiles. While setting up my idea into a business
plan I made sure that I carry out this project with proper research and try to make it a success.
For the same, I have conducted a market research in order to determine the competitors of my
product within the market. I have decided to set up my business in India and for the same reasins,
I have carried out this reasearch within the boiundaries of India. The prime customers of my
business plan will include the architects, normal customers and the interior designers. My
products will be highly affordable so that it can easily be purchased by the middle class indian
people too along with the premium class customers.
Feelings
Preparation of this business plan was a great learning experience for me. It helped me in
conducting different types of market research including different sorts of frameworks. In order
to determine the available strengths, weaknesses , opportunities and threats associated with my
business plan, I carried out a SWOT analysis of my business. And for the purpose of determining
the strengths and weaknesses of my competitors, I also conducted a SWOT analysis of my
competitors within the market (Tanaka, Okamoto, and Koide, 2018.). This contributed to my
learning and growth and helped me in gaining practical knowledge about my subject and
carrying out a market research on an actual basis. While preparing this business plan, it opened
up my mind as for the purpose of determining a concept, I need to think creatively and bring
innovation to the table. The business plan also helped me in development of my personal skills
such as creative thinking, communication, expressing my views in front of a particular audience
and also helped in developing a set of financial skills. This is so because, at the end of the project
report, I have also carried out a financial forecast which states the requirement of funds in order
to carry out this business plan.
Evaluation

Evaluation
Though, I tried my best to analyse the opportunities and threats the business might face
within India using the SWOT analysis. However, I have come to determine that while preparing
the business plan, I have ignored the macro environmental factors that might affect the
profitability of the business plan within India. I should have carried out a PESTLE analysis with
respect to the Indian market in order to analyse the macro environmental factors which includes
the political, economic, social, technological, legal and environmental factors. I have not
considered that statistics much while conduct this business plan (Gratton, and Gratton, 2020.).
This affects the efficieny of my business idea and might hamper the growth and development of
my business plan. If I would have used the PESTLE framework, I would have known by now all
the important fractors that needs to be considered before proceeding with the plan of introducing
a tile manufacturing company that makes use of the reusablle plastic and the waste materials in
order to minimise the waste and contribute its part towards the society.
Analysis
I think I only considered the factors that I thought are revelant for introducing the
business within the market. I considered what are strengths that I needed to build within my
business in order to make it successful within the market. I identified the weaknesses within my
business in order to take actions to make changes within my business plan. However, I
completely ignored the fact there are several macro environmental factors that affects the
business operations of a particular brand and therefore can also affect the functioning of my
business. Not a carrying out the PESTLE analysis with respect to my business plan can affect my
business plan in many ways. There might any political factors which can affect the launching of
my products within India, there might any kind of legal issues which my business needs to
follow in order to carry out the business operations. There might economic policies which my
business plan will need to consider before proceeding with the plan within the Indian boundaries.
Conclusion
After completing my business plan and analysing it properly, I came to realise that it is
important for an organization to consider all the relevant factors if planning to introduce a
business within the market (Beausoleil, 2022. ). Similarly, while preparing the business plan, I
should have considered the internal business factors that helps in the growth and development of
the business as well as the all the external factors that affects the growth and development of the
business plan. The external factors with respect to the Indian market should have been
considered by me within the business plan in order determine actual potential of the business
plan and how it is goung to address the issues that it will face within the Indian market.
