Introduction
In this assignment the discussion is about environment management plan, its benefits for
environment. The aim of the project is to get knowledge about the environmental management
plan, It deals with study that how the constructions of buildings and other operations impact
environment adversely. The case study of company which is manufacturing company of beer is
taken in which research is conducted on the complete introduction of the company including
with implementation of plan with their plant. The feedback of the company is also described
after the implementation.
Environment Management Plan
EMP helps to identify the reasons which harm the environment and surroundings in any way.
This plan also provides the solution to eliminate them. It is implemented in any plant to reduce
all the adverse effects of site to environment in its complete life cycle (Ferronato, Rada, Portillo,
Cioca, Ragazzi, and Torretta, 2019.)
Yorkshire Brewery: The Company was established in year of 1858 by john wood on a two acre
property which was just nearby of his hotel. The building is made up of timber and the operation
which was conducted over there was done with the copper in amount of 36 gallon. It becomes
one of the largest brewing enterprises in Melbourne. The ownership of the company changes
several times but identification of company remains same till 20th Century (Connolly, 2019).
The beer industry is very vast industry and it is the third largest consumable drink in brevages.
During the construction of the building of any brewery a lot of disturbance cause to environment.
As all the machines which are used in the industry they release huge amount of harmful
substance due to which adverse impact can be seen in environment. In the manufacturing of beer
the most useful and most consumable raw material is water and as the level of water is
decreasing day by day. Before the implementation of the plan in the industry the company had to
face a lot of issue related to operation and manufacturing (POKRIVČÁK, SUPEKOVÁ, \
LANČARIČ, Savov, Toth, and VAŠINA, 2019) The workers working over there infected to
many diseases which were harmful due to which every month there was some deficiency of

of EMP in following ways that they can arrange a plan in which the survey may conduct about
the environment or surrounding of company and by analyzing the report they may compare the
obtained results with the decided data. Also company can check the reports of employees about
complaints with health issues and their medical reports can be analyzed, if the data which is
obtained by the management does not matched with ideal data than in implementation in plan
has to be modified by further improvements.
Legal Obligations of Company
For the protection of the policies and rights of the consumers also to understand the
responsibility of the operation some of the acts which were implemented by the company of
Australia, these acts are described as:-

company to maintain a mutual understanding in its investors. This act decides some rules and

Competition and Consumer act 2010: The act in Australia which was proposed in order to
promote the competition in trade also to protect the right of consumers. It was announced to
detect the private and public complaints which were made on breaching of act. Every company
works or executes its tasks to earn profit as much as they can but without harming rights of
consumers and its workers. Yorkshire become one of the largest breweries in Melbourne because
they maintain the quality of their products also keeping rights of every consumer reserve or in
favor of them, due to which they build trust amongst people of Australia.
Fair Work Act 2009: The act was announced for the reliability in relationship between
employee and employer; it explains that an organization has to provide safety, flexibility
workplace and to minimize discrimination of employee working in that company. This act helps

The supplier information should be keep private and not to be disclosed.
Accountability: The factors which explain about the decisions and the responsibility of results
achieved in activity. Some of the elements of accountability are mentioned below:
