INTRODUCTION
The equality and diversity defines the different working standard of the company and
their behaviour reflects the better understanding of all the working employees. It states the equal
opportunity that is promoting by the company as in this all the employee’s gets the better
platform to enhance their working potential (Acurio, 2019). It is only possible with the most
skilled and the talented number of peoples thus they could work all together and helps to
company to achieve its goal in effective manner. Thus in this there a lot of people that belongs
from the different religion and different community having differ educational qualification as
well. In this company accept the diversity and provides equality to them by which they all feel
equal. This report is based on ASDA that is the British retailer of supermarkets and established
in 1949 having the headquartered in Leeds, West Yorkshire. They work with the 165000 number
of employees and having the 631 number of locations all across the world. This report includes
the project management, timeframe and the stages of the completion, primary and secondary
methods appropriate for the meeting aims and objectives. Furthermore includes the research that
is conducted with the help of different tools and techniques.
TASK 1
P1) Devise project aims and objectives
The inclusive workforce reflects the diverse culture of the company that shows the positive
attitude and belief of the employee towards the business. It raises the performance of each
individual as it motivates them and builds the inner zeal in them those up-raises their working
efficiency and thus they achieves their objectives and the skills with appropriate period of time.
It develops the supporting culture in which each of the employee’s works with better
understanding and works with more perfection (AYDIN, 2018).

and diversity in the workforce as in the company” A case study ASDA
Objectives:
 To generate an information regarding inclusive workforce.

Literature Review
Widespread workforce in a company
As per the viewpoint of Tim Eisenhauer, 2020, due to the weaker communication
manager is not able to add the change within the company in effective manner. The organisations
that work on the larger platform that must works with the larger number of diverse and that is
managed the better flow of information by the higher level of authority (Byrd, 2018). The size of
the company is not the problem but to convey the adequate information to all the diversified
people is the biggest problem. In this the straightforward project will be managed and in this the
priority is given to the employee. Thus the manager will be assigned to each group that has the
appropriate knowledge and have that much responsibility to manage the large number of
workforce.
Different strategies adapted by the business to emphasis equality and diversity
As per the viewpoint of Kimberlee Leonard 2019, the diversity is the work that consists
of the different complex issues and includes the people that belongs from the different
backgrounds and have different beliefs. There are some strategies that help the business to
address the diversity and accomplish the objectives of the company. First the issue will be
defined as the policy of the company includes the gamut as like gender issues, disabilities, sexual
harassment, religion etc. Thus company could implement the change as per the need and demand
of the company (Le Grand, 2018). Then the personal uniqueness will be highlighted in this
company accept the employee as per their differences and try to build the strength of the
business. The policy will be developed that are more adhering and emphasis the goals and
objective of the company after that the some different policies will be developed that is in the
favour of the company.
Advantages of having equality and diversity a workforce

employees of different characteristic as like sexual orientation, languages, abilities, skills, race,
religion etc. To maintain the diversity and the equality is most important for the better workforce
that builds strongest reputation of the company (Coltman, 2019). It imparts the tangible benefit
to the company as it helps to take the better advantage from the competitive market. There are a
lot of benefits in the workforce as like higher innovation, higher engagement of employees,
better reputation of the company, huge variety of various prospects, enhances the profit, effective
decision making, improvise hiring results, enhances creativity, increases problem solving skills,
reduces the employee turnover ratio and many other factor as well.
P2) Produce a project management plan
The project management plan is the documented format that includes the different
operation that will implemented by the company within the business in order to gain the better
aggressive benefits from the huge competition (Lucash, 2019). With the help of this plan the
manager will control and monitor each and every activity that has been implemented within the
company in instruct to achieve its objectives in timely manner and insist some of the effective
results that are as defines as:
 Cost: It shows the total required amount that is required to successfully accomplish the
particular project. It has been assigned by the company to each and every task that is
performed to improvise the profitable ratio of the company. in order to allocate the cost to
the activities the funds are the most necessary component that is needed. On the other
hand to conduct the adequate research, researcher needs the specific amount of funds that
is equal to £68000 and with the help to this the researcher performs its research and
provide most appropriate outcome (Georgiadou, 2019).

certain period of time. It reflects the total epoch of time that is required for the researcher
to get the effective result. It is mandatory to assign the time to the task as it provide the
relevancy and an estimated target under which the project could be accomplished. The
researcher needs the 3 weeks period of to get the superior ending (Georgiadou, 2019).
 Scope: It is the affordability of the project and includes the list of objectives that would
be achieved in timely manner. it includes the different functions, cost, derivatives, set
marks, features and many other to fulfil the basic requirement of the project with more
satisfactoriness. It is required because in this researcher achieve its objective by proper
controlling and monitoring.
 Quality: It reflects the adequacies of the projects that could be attain by marinating the
balance implementation of all the data as per in time. In this the researcher collects the
data from the reliable and the required sources. It helps to maintain the effectiveness of
the research and brings valuable result within the company.
 Communication: It shows the better flow of the information in between all the members
that takes part in a team and makes their efforts to gain achieved superior conclusion. It is

Gantt chart: It is the chart that is defined by the Henry Gantt that defines the bar graph
that demonstrates the different activities that are as like the total period of time that is exempted
in the particular activity and reflects the schedule of the certain task. It could be used to measure
the successful percentage of the task and to ensure that objective of the project will be
accomplished within the timely way. It has the lot of importance as it provides the adequate and

mathematical implementation. It could also be attain with the help of questionnaire and the
survey output that is in the form the graphical representation.
Qualitative method: It is the type of research in which the result will be achieved in the
form of statements that reflects as from the different methods that could be achieved as from the
open ended questionnaire. In this result would be attains by collecting the required feedback
from the certain number of peoples. In this result might have developed in term of individual
reach or easiness that didn’t provide the appropriate outcome (Kamenou-Aigbekaen, 2019).
 Primary source: It is the source in which the data is collected for the very first time by
conducting different survey and the by analysing the market uncertainties. It has more
generosity as it provides more accurate result that is collected by putting a lot of efforts.

The above research that was conducted by me in order to make the different effective
strategies that helps to makes the better outcome from the equality and diversity in the
workforce. It is the aspect that brings more positivity and precision within the company that is
developed by making the better initiative by which the goals will be accomplished within the
timely manner and helps the ASDA to give tough fight with their competitors. It improvise the
capabilities and the abilities of the employees by which they could inclusive the environment. As
from this research I would developed my own knowledge in certain manner that improvise my
personal skills and the ability to present more awareness about the different concept. I gave a
huge knowledge about the different consequences of the equality and the diversity in which the
better outcome will be provided with the help of certain data. As in this I acknowledged the
different norms that are related to the different goals that could be gained by the company while
working with the effective workforce. It could support the affections supply of all the relevant
resource in certain period of time. I have presented the project management plan under this I
managed and control the time, cost, value, resources and the abilities of the employee while
working within the different aspects. In this I could implement different approaches and imparts
all of mine knowledge and the skills and try to make the better communication with the sample
size candidates in order to accomplish the target of the company by the collective efforts of all
the employees. In this I will use the Gantt chart and the work breakdown structure by which I
could defines and segmented the overall projects into the different parts in order to get the
effective ending within the appropriate approach. It helps to me to get the efficient output by
which I easily make relative conclusion. In this I will also conduct the different survey with that I
also prepare the questionnaire by which I could make sufficient and needed communication with
the employees. I also faced a lot of problems as well while conducting this research and in this a
learn how to manage the time and operates all the activities with more affordability. I asked
different questions with the employee and then make the analysis that is more qualitative. I also
get developed my communication skills that is more effective and by this I make effective
connection with the employees. It is the researches that helps me to advance and enhanced my
learning abilities and with that I get implement all my strategies with more useful manner.

It has been concluded from the above report that equality and diversity helps to promote
the improved culture within the company by which the entire employee’s get motivated and
works with more efficiency. There is a lot of competition in the market thus it is necessary for
the company to manage the better outcome and that is only possible when company has the
better workforce. There are different strategies that are implemented by the company in order to
gain the validate outcome of the equality and diversity.
