INTRODUCTION Tourism refers to cultural, economical and social process which entails the movement of anindividualtoplaces,destinationsorcountriesoutsidetheirusualatmosphereforthe professional or personal purpose(Abou-Shouk and Elbaz, 2021). In the tourism equity is the important principle which addresses equity in use, distribution and access of products and benefits from tourism. With the help of tourism, people can be offered equal opportunity in income, work, educationand skill development.They can also access equaltechnology, control,resources, ownership and finance which plays an important role in empowering an individual to take more equal and active role within the society. The main aim of this essay is to analyse the equality and participation issues in the industry of tourism. There are some importance of tourism to the management of global destinations future development. To develop future global destinations one should stimulate the GDP growth as the tourism and travel industry contributes up to more tan 10%of global GDP. It increases international trade as the tourism and travel sector is the largest global export of the world. It also boosts the international investment as it is the second largest fast growing sector in position of foreign direct investment. People expect a lot form tourism industry as some individual travel to expand their point of view about the world and some travel to challenge themselves(Alarcón and Cole, 2019). They expect privacy, reliability, comfort, space, efficiency and convenience from the travel industry for the better experience of travelling the destinations, places and world. The people travel to enjoy the places culture, traditions, music, history and heritage, religion, art and architecture. They gain knowledge and information about a lot of things with the help of travelling different kind of destinations all over the world. The main attraction of the individual is the traditional culture of the various places and destinations. Tourism provides more number of job opportunity to the lower wage and lower skilled workers which can decrease the poverty and income inequality within the each locations. FIRST CHAPTER In tourism industry, customers are the important aspect in the profitability, growth and success of their business. The customer service provided by the tourism sector is based on money and profitability(Apollo, 2021). Without the consumers in the tourism industry there is no income because they are the key element for their day to day business. This sector is a key factor in increasing the economy of the nation. Tourism industry gives the positive economic outcome
as it is the world major sectors of economy. It accounted 7% of global trade as it is comes under third biggest export category and contributes 20% of countries GDP. The tourism sector provides employment, generation of income to most of the people and foreign exchange earnings. Tourism industry also focus on improving the infrastructure which includes airport development, rail and road improvements, telecommunications and water supply improvement which means utilities. At the same time tourism also have some negative impact on economy like because of tourism industry there are traffic jams and overcrowding occurs on the places or destinations. In the local shops or store the prices increases as tourists are considered to be more wealthy as compared to the local people or population(Cole, 2018). The more number of people spend their money in the destination or places where they visits eventually raises tourism sectors short term revenue which helps them in achieving sustainable competitive advantage and long term stability in the market. Tourism industry helps in the growth of economic activities and also boost it, development of infrastructure, boost revenue of large scale industry and many more. It is also a source of employment generations and foreign exchange earnings. The tourism industry impact economic growth of various countries with the help of some factors which are education, greater number of qualified professionals, industrialization, liberal trade policies, strategic marketing, better advertisement and many more. On society, tourism have positive impact like commercialisation of art and culture, preserving the local heritage and culture, revitalisation of customs, forms and arts and many more. Along with some positive impact there are some negative impact is also there of tourism. The main effect of tourism is decline in traditional employment, it shows that the local people is not getting more jobs as they employees the persons from all over the world(Li and Twining- Ward, 2019). Second negative impact of tourism on economy is over dependency. Tourism sector is fully dependent on the tourist as their whole income is earned due to large number of people who visits the destination and place. SECOND CHAPTER Tourism industry is basically deals with tours and travels making by the people of different community in various geographical areas. The tourism market is growing now a days very effectively(Comer, 2018). People have different desired motivations and needs to take part in tourism market. It increase the valuable tourism that helps to boost host country's trade including their exports and imports. Different people have same motive of join Olympic games and to see. It influence their tourist behaviour that helps to impact tourism market positively. Olympic can impact travel of peoples domestically and internationally to influence tourism. The expectations of tourists enhanced through rising of these events. It also impacts hospitality industry in different ways(Nassani and Et. Al., 2019). As people come and take hospitality services from host country so, it is appropriate to say that Olympics can influence the hospitality industry. Massive media coverage is the key element that helps Olympics for emerging into tourism industry. It is a event exposed by media to enhance popularity of host country that can helps in creation of positive image. Media also helps the country to generate international tourism that helps to develop their economy and enhance their growth in the tourism industry. In the season of this event the behaviour of tourist get influenced to increase their movement towards host country. Emergence of new market can influence tourism industries likely in various ways. It can also be accurate to say that emergence of Olympics market into tourism industry isvery much able to facilitate increasing needs and motivations of consumers in context to travel(Romo and Et. Al., 2019). People can use travelling method like bikes, cars and buses to go domestically. Whereas international trips requires boats and airways to reach at the host country. Duration of travel are basically depends on the distance from where tourists are going to reach at the host country. THIRD CHAPTER In any sector equality plays an important role as each and every individual wants to be treated equal like others. In the companies each and every individual working for them wants equality like they want salary and wages have to paid equal like others who are working on the same position(Walters, 2018). In tourism sector, the organisations provides better quality of working environment and personnel policy fairly so that their employees do not get demotivated.
They also promotes women equality in the society so that every women should be treated equal in the companies just like men. They provide comfort and luxury services to their customers so that they can feel safe, comfortable and satisfied. Tourism companies gives good environment at workplace, fair salary and many more so that their employees feels valued and complete their work effectively and efficiently. This helps them in attracting more number of customers in order to attain organisational success and goal. As the staff of the firm is motivated they perform their task with full dedication and treats their customers properly which directly increase the revenue and profitability of the company. Tourism industry focuses on the rights of people like gender pay gap, in this the women have to be paid equal to the men in a fair manner. They perform their task as equal to the other men who are working in the organisation but still sometimes they are not paid as much as salary which is paid to others in the company. It also focuses on moral and ethics behaviour, it is related to the right or wrong conduct. All the ethics of the company is compulsorily have to be followed by all the employees where as morals is related to the principles of an individual related to what is right and wrong. Tourism sector to attract more number of people and to get success they used to develop the destination and places by time so that it can looks attracted all the time and large number of people visit the destination. They also provide employment to the unemployed people which directly increases the economy of country. There are various positive as well as negative impact of tourism on destinations and place(Zhang and Zhang, 2020). They provides large number of jobs to the people all over the world and provides quality of life to the local people by developing the destination or place with respect to the time. Tourism sector earn more revenue and money for their country and that money also can be used to protect natural calamities in the various destinations. The new technologies and facilities which are given to the customers it also benefits the locals of the country. At the same time there is also some negative impactof tourism on destinations and places like their traditions and culture keeps on changing due to mass arriving of the people for visiting that particular place or destination. Due to the mass tourism there is a damage to the natural atmosphere and environment. It also causes overweening in the places and destination and traffic jams which affects the environment. The prices of the local stores in the particular destination market increases because the people arriving there to visit destination is more wealthy then the local ones. This sector puts huge stress on the local land use which leads to increased pollution, soil erosion, more pressure on endangered animals
and species, natural habitat loss and many more. People comes to visit the different destination wants to stay in the clean and safe places so that they do not feel homesick and travel their desired destination properly. So it is very important to provide better hotels and place to stay as most of the people mainly focuses on that. Tourism sector gives a lot of information and knowledge to large number of people of the heritage and culture of many places and destinations. So the individual who is interested in gaining knowledge about the different places then it is the best option to adopt. CONCLUSION The important finding of the above report is that the tourism plays an important role in the economy of the country as it contributes 20% of GDP. It helps most of the people all over the world by providing them large number of employment, good and safe environment, knowledge about the culture and heritage and many more. Tourism industry have both negative and positive impact on the society as the large number of customers travels to the destination and places to visit. It provides more jobs, development of infrastructure, new facilities to the both local people and customers, revenue to the people and many more. At the same time it also effect the environment and the endangered spices, raises the prises of the products and shops as they think that the customers are more wealthier than the local ones. It provides knowledge and information about the heritage and culture of many destinations, places, countries to the large number of people all over the world. Which helps them to visit the best and desired place and get satisfied. tourism have positive as well as negative impacts on various economies and destinations. It may leads to influence the growth of economy by increasing their export and imports and enhancing the hospitality business of destined country. Increase in tourism also leads some negative impacts like pollution and imitability to culture of their country. It encourages the economic growth by contributing in GDP of destination economy and by increasing their global trade. Every country is influencing tourism in their geographical area as it can leads in overall development of economies across the world.
