an individual to places, destinations or countries outside their usual atmosphere for the
professional or personal purpose (Abou-Shouk and Elbaz, 2021). In the tourism equity is the
important principle which addresses equity in use, distribution and access of products and
benefits from tourism. With the help of tourism, people can be offered equal opportunity in
income, work, education and skill development. They can also access equal technology,
control,resources, ownership and finance which plays an important role in empowering an
individual to take more equal and active role within the society. The main aim of this essay is to
analyse the equality and participation issues in the industry of tourism. There are some
importance of tourism to the management of global destinations future development. To develop
future global destinations one should stimulate the GDP growth as the tourism and travel
industry contributes up to more tan 10%of global GDP. It increases international trade as the
tourism and travel sector is the largest global export of the world. It also boosts the international
investment as it is the second largest fast growing sector in position of foreign direct investment.
People expect a lot form tourism industry as some individual travel to expand their point of view
about the world and some travel to challenge themselves (Alarcón and Cole, 2019). They expect
privacy, reliability, comfort, space, efficiency and convenience from the travel industry for the
better experience of travelling the destinations, places and world. The people travel to enjoy the
places culture, traditions, music, history and heritage, religion, art and architecture. They gain
knowledge and information about a lot of things with the help of travelling different kind of
destinations all over the world. The main attraction of the individual is the traditional culture of
the various places and destinations. Tourism provides more number of job opportunity to the
lower wage and lower skilled workers which can decrease the poverty and income inequality
within the each locations.
