Introduction
Globalization is the global integration of international markets, thus promoting the idea
of international trade, technology and culture. In simple words, globalization has standard
policies formed by the government that controls the domestic markets, external markets, and the
way of living and also advancing current technology (Khursandov, 2019). Globalization aims to
promote regular exchanges, thus improving the trade and at the same time raising the standard of
living within the country. Different authors argue that globalization has expanded current
markets, thus becoming advantageous to the multinational corporations and at the same time
forming free markets. Through this influence, the small businesses have, and at the same time,
culture spreads from one destination to another. The essay will try to elaborate on whether
globalization unites or divides the world. Besides, the paper outlines how globalization is another
form of political, social, and economic control by a group within society.
Discussion
In general, globalization unites society. To my point of view, globalization is a system
that encourages togetherness within the community. This means that globalization supports
collective voice — for example, globalization impacts on the field of education (Arora, 2019).
Different sources have indicated how people have been moving from one country to another in
search of new educational opportunities. This shows that it is convenient for students to move
globally in search of new educational services. Through this analogy, globalization tends to unite
people, thus promoting social integration globally. Most of the students move from developing
countries or third world countries, thus moving to developed nations to gain adequate
knowledge. For instance, we have learners from India who always visit different countries such
as the USA; therefore, pursuing various courses which are not available in the country.

Also, the increased flow of information through the growth of globalization unites
society. Globalization has increased the means of communication, meaning that the transfer of
information from one person to another is a matter of second. Besides, globalization has led to
digital awakening, whereby the issue of information technology is everywhere within the world
(Khursandov, 2019). Use of new technology unites the society whereby people communicate a
common via Social Media and other technology related platforms. Sharing of ideas globally has
revolutionized the current, thus promoting social cohesion. Researchers show that diplomatic
relations are increasing from day to day due to the issue of technology that has speeded up the
idea of globalization. The idea is that nations are now connected whereby people can hold virtual
meetings by use of video conference, thus uniting the entire society.
It is evident that globalization has become quite a main sort of debate among various
academicians, philosophers, policy makers, and other non-governmental organization. It is clear
that its effect is profoundly controlled by various groups and variables in the environment. In
spite of the existing changes on the promotion of the global prosperity and having to achieve a
more conducive world, various negative aspects of this still continue to be rife among the groups
of people existing in the entire global dimension (De Vogli, 2011). The political domain controls
the aspects of injustices, inequalities in income distribution, racism and marginalization domains
in the entire society.
In addition, it is evident that globalization is not an aspect which is controlled by one
particular group of people. It is mainly accompanied by the rampant flow of people's related
economic lifestyles, states and preferences, basic economic, political and social ideas and also
border values which assist this aspect in revamping local political institutions, various cultural
patterns, and social relations.
