3.1 Various team roles and team based issue in the organization In today's competitive business environment, firms divide their employees in different teams and this team with similar related skills coordinate and resolve the issues at organization effectively. Being a HR executive at Spar, the major team based issues that I was facing is as follows, Team Conflict:Team conflict is common workplace issue which affects the productivity and make impact in achievement of goals. Conflict between team members arises for some specific reasons in which team members failed to balance between perception and objectives of the team. Lack of participation of all team members:At the time of working in a team effective participation of all team members is essential. If team members do not take part in team work than it results in performance deficiencies of a team. Being a HR executive in Spar, I was facing this major problem in team work.
Continued... Being a HR executive in Spar, I will resolve the team based problem of lack of participation of all team members by implementing following strategies. Incentives:I will motivate employees for their effective participation in team work by providing them incentives on their effective performance. I will provide them financial and non financial incentives for their better team work. 360 degree feedback:I will use 360 degree feedback method to measure every team member's performance. By using this strategy I will identify which employeelacksinperformance.Accordingly,Iwillencouragethemto participate in team work.
3.2 Team Dynamics at workplace The behavioral relationship between team members in the organization is defined as team dynamics. These team dynamics make impact on roles and responsibilities of team members and effects the sales and productivity of organization. The impact of team dynamics in Spar is as follows, Effective team dynamics at Spar helped in increasing customer satisfaction. Increased profitability and sales of the organization. Improvement in team performance and individual employee's performance. Increased staff retention. Improved goodwill of the organization.
