Introduction Social enterprises are the organisations which are mainly focused on maximising social benefits by maximising their profits so that they can have sustainable finance available which can be used in improving the social and environmental conditions. These organisations help in identifying various problems and issues which are faced by under-privileged people in society along with the harm done to environment through various activities so that improvements can be made. In this report the social enterprises working in Romania will be considered along with the impact they have been able to create on society and methods used by them in achieving their social objectives. Part 1 Social enterprises are organisations which work for maximising the social well-being and welfare so that the social objectives can be achieved. The profits earned by these organisations are used for starting social programmes which can help in achieving welfare of communities and society. Earning profits is not the primary motivation of these enterprises however, profits play an important role so that they can be reinvested in achieving their social mission rather than paying out funds to the shareholders (Petrella and Richez-Battesti, 2016). The third sector organisationsare those whichare neitherpublicor privateandare drivenby socialor environmental goals wherein the profits are reinvested in social programmes so that social objectives can be achieved. These organisations also apply commercial strategies so as to maximise improvement in financial, social and environmental well-being which may also include enhancing the social impact so that the objectives of these organisations can be achieved. Thus these organisations aim at achieving social objectives in a financially sustainable manner which can help them in working on their own and they do not have to exclusively depend on charity as in the case of charitable organisations (Alt, Săplăcan and Berács, 2017). Establishing social enterprises in society can help in bringing various changes in the society along with dealing with various social problems which are being faced by people so that maximum benefit can be achieved. The programmes run by these organisations can help in promoting welfare so that the people and environment can be protected against exploitation and maximum benefit can be achieved through social work. These organisations identify a social problem in a particular area and find the root cause behind such issues so that effective actions
can be taken in order yo eradicate these causes so that community development can take place. These organisations also help in joining with most locals who are facing issues like poverty, discrimination, joblessness, social or medical issues etc. so that their problems can be understood and the root cause can be identified which can help in improving their conditions in society. These organisations also help in opening the eyes of communities about the conditions faced by disadvantaged people so that other people can become aware about such conditions prevailing in society and come together in eradicating their pain for achieving maximum social benefits. Part 2 The social enterprises which work in Romania in the similar sector which is providing education to under-privileged sections of the society are Socio-Educational centre Pinocchio and Te Aud Romania. These organisations help in providing education to children who belong to the lower sections of society so that they can contribute towards the development of society and also build their career which can help them in becoming self-dependent and financially stable. These organisations are addressing the social issue related with unavailability of education to the children belonging to lower sections of society who cannot afford education and are forced to work so that they can earn and support their living (Bellostas, López-Arceiz and Mateos, 2016). Both these organisations work in the similar industry and with similar aim of providing education to the disadvantaged sections of society which can help in their development and in improvement of their standard of living. By providing education to children in the society the literacy rate of the society can be increased along with improving the logical and critical thinking among people which can also help in eradicating various social evils from the society like orthodox thinking, stereotypes, unhygienic conditions etc. These organisations are working towards improving the social conditions so that overall social benefits can be achieved which can help in improving the financial and economic conditions of society along with making the youth more capable. Socio-Educational Centre Pinocchioprovides scholastic support and education to 50 children and youngsters belonging to the most disadvantaged brackets of Romania minority. The main objective of this organisation is to prevent situations like vulnerability, discrimination and social exclusion by providing them with educational facilities along with healthy nutrition so that their welfare can be supported and they can contribute towards development of society(Borzaga, Fazzi and Galera, 2016). These organisations are also financed through various sources which help them in remaining financially sustainable so that their welfare objectives can be gained. I also have many qualities which can help me in becoming a social entrepreneur so that I can help in maximising the benefits of society by increasing the well-being of people facing social issues like poverty, discrimination, unequal distribution of resources, poor hygienic conditions etc. With the help of my various skills like effective communication, influencing skills, making contacts with people, team-working skills etc. can help me in becoming a social entrepreneur. Also I am interested in using my skills and capabilities in solving the social issues so that I can work towards increasing the welfare of society. I am concerned about the poor and under-privileged sections of the society who are devoid of all kinds of facilitates like proper diet, education, hygienic conditions etc. I can use my skills effectively and become an entrepreneur so that I can work with team members and motivate in working ethically in achieving the benefits of society. Conclusion From the above report it can be said that social entrepreneurs play an important role in uplifting the conditions of under-privileged people in society by identifying their problems and working towards addressing these issues through ethical code of conduct.
