Foreign trade: it created and expanded the foreign trade in all over the world. From
the globalisation things and products which are found in only developed countries can
now be found in other countries across the world this helps undeveloped country to
improve their economy and business in effective manner(Rai, 2013). Nation does
business through international trade, whereby they are able to export and import
goods and services(Dunning, 2014). Companies which exports the products and
services gets comparative advantages. Undeveloped countries are able to improve
their business and can gain future opportunities through the globalisation. There are
two types of foreign investments direct and indirect. Multinational firms are more
complex because they have responsibility to maintain the relation with large parts of
investors, suppliers and government bodies of the world.
Competition: one of the most positive effect of globalisation is that it improves the
quality of products due to world competition. In this context due to increasing
competition, company has to provide the best quality products all companies focusing
on the quality rather than quantity. Through this customer's satisfaction level
increases in good manner. The main aim of the companies all over the world is to
provide the best and high quality products to attract the customers and to increase the
productivity and margin scale. But increasing competition also impacting in negative
manner on the local business, national and local business are decreasing because of
these multinational organisation.
Communication: in today's scenario this is also one of the positive impact of
globalisation. Through this different countries are able to communicate and shares the
information about the various issues and conflicts. It also helps to increase the speed
of transportation. With the different electronic technologies people are able to
communicate in all over the world through the messages, phone calls and other
medium. Different and new technologies also helps business person to expand their
business in different countries(Amin, 2014).

such as jobs insecurity, fluctuations in prices, terrorism etc.
Jobs insecurity: due to high technologies companies need fewer employees Most of
work are done by the machines(Scott, 2013). In developed countries people have jobs
insecurity, peoples are losing their jobs this is because the production and
manufacturing is outsourced to countries where the costs of production are less than
in their countries. Due to outsourcing to cheaper location such as china most people
like accountant, editor, researcher have lost their jobs(Hay and Marsh, 2016).
Fluctuations in pricing: globalization has enhanced the changes in price. Developed
nation are forced to lower down their prices for their goods and services due to
increase in competition, Because of other countries like china producing products at a
lower cost than the developed countries. So developed countries are facing pressure to
reduce prices of their goods. As increased in competition level is likely reduce the
price level(Gregory, 2014). Due to some countries like china are providing the same
products at low price therefore, UK market have pressure to decrease the price of
products(Kaplinsky, 2013).
Spread of fast foods chain: fast food chain is growing very fast. Most people prefer to
buy fast foods because it is cheap and are able at very low price and everywhere.
Traditional diets and recipes are giving up from the people and they prefer fast food it
increases many diseases and producing negative impact on people's health(Benería,
Berik and et.al., 2015).
Western culture: globalisation has expanding the western culture, various countries
are ignoring their own culture and following the Western culture. They ignoring their
own dressing style, language and following the western culture. This can create
misunderstanding due language barrier and also affect management(Gwynne and
Cristobal, 2014).

Widespread use of computers, faxes and mobile phones, internet are cheaper but

likely and this helps in developing the GDP. Overall there are some advantages and
disadvantages of globalization however globalisation can brings more job opportunities in
host country(Crane, Kawashima and et.al., 2016). Multinational company should move their
production operation into developing countries. Moreover, UK can compete with their
competitors by providing the best and high quality products(Palan, Murphy and et.al.,
2013. ). They can attract the customers through the quality of products and services and this
process will help to remove the competitors such as china etc. moreover, internet plays an
important role in the success of business. Through the social media such as Facebook and
twitter etc. entrepreneurial are able to promote their services and products in all over the
world. Apart from this online marketing also providing more benefits to the corporations.
