In this report mentioned the differences among invention and innovation and also explain about
the importance of innovation. Organisational teamwork, culture, culture and leadership, these all
are helpful in give the shape to commercialisation and innovation. In this present report
mentioned about the 4p's of innovation and how a business firm use innovation funnel for
determining the innovative thoughts. There are some importance of commercial funnel and some
applications of New Product Development.

P1- Innovation and its importance in comparison to invention

context of any process, designing or modification in any services and products, technology etc.
Ideas should be economical and should also be satisfy the particular needs and wants of a person.
In relation to social, it helps in introducing new ways for joint venturing, to enhancing the buying
power of customers (Camp and Arnold, 2016) There are two types of innovation and that are
evolutionary, continuous and revolutionary in nature. Invention means to inventing some thing
new and unique and it can be a process or any method. After searching new things, it is
necessary to patented it and with the help of this new discovery will be safe. iD mobile company
thinks new and innovative ideas how can they provide easy and good facilities to its customers at
reasonable price. There are some differences between innovation and invention:

The Virgin Group is a big company and it provides many services in other fields. The managers
of this company always motivate their employees and search innovative ideas to give benefits to
society. Importance of innovation is described as follows:
Helps in attracting buyers- With the help of innovation, it will be easy to attract buyers.
To attract them towards services and products, it is necessary to this business enterprise to make
changes and to add some new things from which purchaser will easily attract (Lacy, 2010).
Company has to make products and give services after identifying the tastes and preference of

are help in making business successful and these also help in give the shape to innovation and

Managers motivate their employees to work in a team without arising any conflict. If employees
will work in a team, then work or tasks will be done in an effective and efficient manner. In this,
workers try to cooperate with each other, using their skills, knowledge and abilities and also
giving constructive response instead of arising any dispute (Ukeje and Iwilade, 2012). From

required and that are compromising skills, good communication, keep aside attitude, cooperation

and that are autocratic and democratic. Both works on achieving the goals or objective of this
firm. The nature of both leaders is different from each other but they guide properly to their team

Vision- It means that what company want to do in future or can say what is the future

good reasonable price by using advanced technology. It is a big 4G services provider. It provides

it helps in making the quality of services or products better. iD Mobile enterprise Company
should be use new technology to make process better and to rising the quality standard of its
internet services. With the help of this sales will be increased and the productivity will also
enhanced.
Product innovation- To make improvement in production process, there will be easy in
increase or improving the quality standard of products as well as services. For making present
products attractive, it is necessary to make changes in them on the basis of customers tastes and
preferences. All employees and departments helps in making goods better quality by using their
innovative ideas. iD company use new technologies to modifications in its services or to
upgrade its services.
