could be protected from being harmed. It is essential for health care organization to enhance
patient safety as it is not limited to physical safety but also includes psychological, emotional and
cultural safety. However, when patient are provided safety environment within health care home
then they feel trustworthy and it helps in minimizing the incidents that impacts patient health
(Carter, Creedy & Sidebotham, 2015). Improving healthcare systems helps in maximizing patient
recovery and provide them appropriate measures so that their health could be safeguarded
through developing communication skills in regard to manage the complexity and competing
tensions which defines the policies of healthcare organisations.
Communication is considered as crucial task that helps in providing information,
instructions or advice in regard to develop two way communication through which information
could be shared, transferred using both verbal and non verbal ways. However, health care
professionals carry out effective communication system so that patients could be provided clear,
unambiguous information in appropriate time. Thus, it could be evaluated that communication
involves listening and interacting as part of the process in which health care professionals
communicate effectively with each other and thus understand the patient problems so that

transparency etc. in order to help individuals lead their life towards success. However, patient
centred care is developed upon understanding that care users have their own experience, skills
and knowledge regarding their condition and thus develop team spirit so that proper health could
be maintained within patients. Here, communication plays an effective role so that it helps them
to build effective partnership with health care professionals, patients and their families. Thus,
patient centred care helps in applying to people with all the ages so that they can practice
effective care and support in HSC (Casey & et. al., 2015).
