It is an electronic tool which helps in storing & processing data and the biggest example of digital technology is social media. This essay include the use of social media or digital technology and how both positively as well as negatively impact personal relationship quality of an individual. Use of social media or digital technology along with its positive as well as negative impact on quality of personal relationships Digital technologyis an electronic tool which helps the organization as well as individual in their daily routine. This system helps in storing large volume data, processing and re-use these information as per the requirements. Digital technology used to educate young people which is the safest way of using technology. According to the current scenario, use of technology and social media negatively impact the individual rather than positively. Because people not use digital platform to enhance their knowledge even they spend more time on social media sites, play games, watching videos etc. These things will negatively impact the individual or their personal life too. Advancement of technology impact on every area of the society but it generate huge impact on child or parent relationship (Positive or Negative Impact of technology,2019). There are lots of positive as well as negative impact which effect the personal relations and it discussed below: Positive Impact: Coordinate changes in the plan: Before introducing technology, it is very difficult to coordinate with others if any changes occur in the plan. But after digitalisation, it become easy to inform others regarding change in the plan. For example: family make a plan for movie or dinner but the time was changes so they informed each other by using call or message. Kids can inform their parents if they coming late in the home or going 1
somewhere(Tess, 2013). So it is the positive impact of technology on personal relations which improve their quality as well. Reach family in trouble: Digital technology also provide the location tracking facility which can be used if any family member in trouble. By using GPS tracking system, people can find their family member and it mostly happen with kids who misplace their way. Technology helps the kids to live independent and make them responsible to go anywhere without any fear. So technology beneficial for the personal use as well and it positive impact the personal relationship where parents can leave their child without any fear. Negative Impact: Lack of quality time: In the world of technology where people are more connected with social media sister rather than physically. So it it important for an individual to spend some quality time with their family members. Nowadays parents try to engage their child through sharing their childhood memories or other incidents. Kids are used to play games on mobile or computer which create differences between parents & child. Because children prefer to spend their time on social media or with other gadgets. It impact the quality of personalrelationship(Tiago and Veríssimo, 2014). So parentsneed to understand its impact and try to use technology in positive manner which does not create huge gap between their relationship. Poor face to face interaction: Due to various mode of communication such as video calling, audio calling, chatting etc. It will reduce face to face communication as well as interaction of family members as well as friends. Use of social media provide a feeling of connecting with far away friends. But it will create enough distance from the person who sitting next to that person. More use of technology such as social media sites, online game, chatting and other things will create different among family members. It negatively impact the quality of relationship which required to improve through understanding its further effects. Benefits of Cost of religion in everyday life On the basis of Research centre study religion influence many people and their daily life style too. This research helps in finding that those people who are more religions are more engaged with their family members and happy too. These kinds of people are more involved in the community and they generally free from various stress. They have lesser demand, they complaining less or satisfy with every thing which they have(Williams, Crittenden and McCarty, 2012). For example: almost half of the UK people who follow religion & they pray every day and done all the religious activitiesevery week are more happier rather than who do not done any pray. These types of people have good relation with their family members and it will reduce the daily stress which further helps in increasing their individual productivity as well as performance. Above mention information represent that 47% people who follow religion will spend more time with their family even at least once a month. On the other side, those people who are not highly religious are meet once in a month are 30%. Along with this, 29% who are not religious are less happy in comparison to the people who are religious and its about 40%. In addition, another level of comparison is very satisfied where 74% are religious and 67% who does not follow the religion. 3
Difference between level of happiness in the religious or non religious people not only found in UK even all over the country. Regular pray will provide inner peace, teaching goodwill and golden rules of living life & change in the behaviour for others. It is beneficial for the society as well because religious people not done any kind of ethical action they follow ethics in proper way. Individual also try to motivate other to follow region through analysing its benefits and further positive impact. Become religious provide inner strength, make individual capable to forgive things and people also. According to the survey, religious people are similar to the non religious people but they are more satisfied with their actions and having inner people which make them more happyin comparison to others who did not pray. 4
