INTRODUCTION SWOT analysis is considered as tool which is used by an organization in order to understand their internal strengths and weaknesses so that they can identify their external opportunities and threats (Fatricia, 2017). Organization selected for this report is TESCO which is public limited company operating in retail industry. It is founded by Jack Cohen in year 1919 and head office is located at England, United Kingdom. The aim of conducting this report is to evaluate SWOT of respective company. MAIN BODY Overview of firm TESCOisaBritishmultinationalretailstorewhichoffergroceriesandgeneral merchandise (Irsan and Budiman, 2018). It is considered as third largest retail store which offer their products as well as services through supermarket, hypermarket, convenience shop and superstore. Strength of TESCO TESCO is one of the biggest retail store at United Kingdom who offer grocery of high quality which help them in attracting more and more customers as well as retain them for the long time duration. Respective company have global presence by more than 6800 stores around 16 nations which show they have huge number of potential customers that help them in gaining high profitability ratio and market shares (TESCO SWOT Analysis 2019 | SWOT analysis of TESCO,2019). They offer their products through diversified stores such as One Stop, TESCO Metro etc. which aid in targeting all sector and every customers ratio in successfully manner. CONCLUSION By above mentioned point it can be conclude that through SWOT analysis a firm can understand their internal strengths and weaknesses which help them in developing decision for grabbing external opportunities as well as facing threat successfully and effectively. 3
