Introduction
Iinaz is 22 years old and stays in Iran. She gave an interview in CompuSoft which is
an Australian Company. The interview that she attended has gone well. The manager of the
company was specialized in design of specialized DVDs. He offered her the job immediately.
As Iinaz was very happy to get this job, without taking much time she accepted the offer. The
following week she walks to the office and she found that a male colleague was there to share
the office with her. Since they have to work on the same project. During the project they
would be able to help each other and learn more things (Ferguson, Thornley & Gibb, 2016).
Iinaz and her husband were not happy with the arrangement because it was completely
against her culture and religion to get isolated with a completely unrelated man.
Analysis
From the case study, the ethical dilemma that Iinaz was facing was to work with an
unknown person that was completely out of her culture and religion (Andrews, 2014). Iinaz
decided to approach to her manager in order to get a solution to the arrangement about the
work that she have to do with a completely unknown male colleague (Schreiner, 2015). If
Iinaz take the decision not to continue with Mark then it might happen that she might lose the
job that has been offer to her (Bromley & Orchard, 2016). The point is now very curial for
Iinaz.
Based on some legal considerations the decisions are made. There is multiple
approaches that can be made where one approach might be illegal (Mackay, 2017). In that
case, Iinaz need to consider that option very seriously before making the decisions. As the
manager has set the rules that for that particular project Iinaz has to work with Mark would
affect the culture and religion that she follows (Linehan & O’Brien, 2017). However, most

idea to work with Mark as they will be able to get lot of things to learn. On the other hand,
she needs to think of her reputation with her culture and religion as it can impact her personal
life.
