1ETHICAL DILEMMA: POST 2 Post 2: Application of ACS code of ethics The ACS code of ethics is a part of the Australian code of professional conduct and Society regulation Constitution that determines whether and action performed has been actively correct or incorrect. There are several aspects or core ethical values of the ACS code of conduct that determines if the action performed has been acting against the law within the law or along with the adherence to the societal values [1]. According to the action that has been taken in this particular case for using robotic arms for treating a patient with prostate cancer and causing a near death experiences for the patient, the code of conduct will be undertaken according to the analysis and synthesis of the actions conducted by the Healthcare organisation [2]. The code of ethics would solve the dilemma and bring about the conclusion if the undertaken action was aligning to the law or not aligning to the law. According to the first virtue of the code of ethics, privacy of public interest comes first. The hospital authority also placed the patient and there will be across their personal business or social interest [3]. This is why the use of robotic arms can be regarded as an action to enhance the primacy of public interest which is absolutely ethical. According to the enhancement of quality of life, which forms the second value of the code of ethics, the people in the Healthcare organisation where looking forward to provide the robotic arm operation to the patient for enhancing the quality of life for the patient [4]. Therefore this action can also be regarded as ethical from the aspect of the Healthcare authority. The third virtue is honesty, which is clearly stated by the hospital authority as their actions were absolutely ethical and they were not dishonest. The action can be regarded as ethical.
2ETHICAL DILEMMA: POST 2 The next ethical value is provided by competence so that the hospital authority would work competently and diligently which did and were absolutely ethical and their conduct. They also represented professional development and professionalism and this is why all the codes of ethics according to the ACS code of conduct regards that there was no action taken by the hospital authority that were not ethical.
