The businesses face ethical dilemmas when they need to utilize technologies. Problem statement: The information technology is facing ethical challenges and social issues. The ethical issues in information technology are a threat if not adhered to in the organization. It is the role of the IT department to ensure that the organization does not fall into such traps. There are five ethical issues that are facing the information technology, which are: computer crime, intellectual property, software privacy, copyright infringement, job displacement and digital divide.
