INTRODUCTION
Cultural autobiographies are the one which reveals the event of the life and also the
assumption to know into the depth about the psyche. Preparing of the cultural autobiography not
only helps in understand the deeper self but also detect about the roles and responsibilities of
other within the society. This is basically based on the experience which an individual had. In
this current individual report the study will cover the understanding different cultural framework
and inter culture communication. Apart from this, the study also covers different values and
beliefs of an individuals from own culture in comparison to the the other individual.
Understanding own culture recognition as well as being more open to other is significantly
important.
MAIN BODY
CULTURAL AUTOBIOGRAPHY
I was born on 9 October 1993, in Bucharest the capital of Romania, recognised for the
forested region of Transylvania, ringed by the Carpathian Mountains. I was brought up in a
middle class family where both my parents raised me jointly along with my two sisters. At very
early stage I lost my grandparents as both of them were suffering from different illness. My
family belong to Christian community and believed in Jesus Christ, me I have converted later to
Islam during my marriage my husband being Muslim, now I belief in Allah (God) where
Mohammed is the messenger of him.
Knowing from my parents about the Romanian revolution in 1989 and later learning in school
about it, the Romanian education system has been in a continuous reorganization process.
After graduating high school studying four years tourism and marketing I attended a professional
school of arts and crafts later taking my qualification in the field of pastry and confectionery. But
it seems that it wasn’t my vocation afterwards realizing that is not what I want to do all my life,
as a result of trying other jobs too.
My parents always encouraged me and they were with me respecting my decisions and choices.
both parents are alive, my father was a professional electrician now being retired and my mother
all her life worked in cosmetics having her own beauty salon. Being the middle sister, the little
one having (18 years) still living with our parents, and the big one being married (30 years)
having a little girl already, I got married at the age of 23, choosing to leave the country with my

husband, growing up in Romania from the age of 7 years and having dual Romanian Palestinian
citizenship, also speaking as me Romanian my mother tongue, it was very easy for us to
understand although. At the beginning of our relationship we were totally opposed to having a
different culture, different norms values and faith, now being Muslim and being part of the same
community as him, everything related to the oriental culture I remember fondly that in my
childhood I was passionate about this culture having as passion their food and music with Arabic
specific.
I learned Arabic during my conversion to Islam being needed for the religious side more, but I
tend to believe that it was a little more difficult unlike the other languages that I speak, English,
Spanish, Turkish, and I can translate also and writes from Italian. I studied French for 8 years
but I never liked it because of the accent. My journey till the date I have leave the country in
2015 October and in the present it has undergone many radical changes and all for good. Now I
am mother I have a baby, she is 21 months old, and in the same time I am studying, I choose to
finish my studies by following Business Management at University of Bedfordshire.
CULTURAL AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF KRISHNA RATHORE
My name is Krishna Rathore. I was born on 28th august 1995 among the Rajput culture. I
grew up in the richer section of the society where me and my family used to live happily. I was
brought up in a wonderful home that my parents built living a very typical childhood. The
culture which I belong is one of the oldest religion in India that is Hinduism. There are wide
range of God and Goddess on whom we believe and worship. Being a member of the Rajput
community we believe in Kuldevi who is known as the messenger of the god. My father and
mother both are well qualified as my mother is a professor and my father is the president of the
Rajput community. They both render their whole life towards the welfare and benefits of the
community and were more into the social work. During the age of 6 they taught me to read and
write about different languages. Due to the spiritual culture within the family I was easily able to
understand my own culture as well as all individuals residing within the society. Both my parents
decided to send me to The institute of Modern education where the studies regarding the religion
is also provided. Where I was asked to stay at the place where all the religious prophet used to
live so that I can increase my knowledge more and more regarding the culture and religion. At
the academic times it was difficult or rare to see anyone who has much knowledge of the
religions and culture so this helped me to solve the problems of my mates who were facing the

difficulty in studying the subject related to the religions. Decision to go out and pursue my
higher studies came with so many challenges in front me as the Institution in which I was
enrolled was having culture of inequality where individuals were judged on the basis of their
caste, religions, age , sex and gender. This was a huge problem which was to be solved within
the institute and the community as the religion of the Rajputs also believes in the concept of in
equality. For this I gave my all knowledge and efforts which I received from my
parents ,grandparents and the surroundings so maintain the stability and the concept of equality
in the Modern institute of education. By seeing this all my friends in the institute also got to
understand that their must be equality for everything every individual should be treated in the
same manner as the other one goes through. This made me to stand out in front of them as a
example as being from the Rajput culture I was treating each and every individual equally
through which they got inspired and was a turning point for my life. This upbringing has defined
my life and has helped me throughout this journey in motivating others and working for the
welfare of other as my father who lead his entire life towards the welfare of others.
Compare and contrast between my autobiography and Mohammed Saif on the basis of
models :

Power distance : However both the culture fosters the same amount of power. But the
Muslims here believes that the power is being distributed equally in comparison to the Rajputs as
the Rajputs in the society stills works with the concept of inequality. Therefore to gain the power
in the higher amount they must focus on developing the culture of equality in their community so
that the individual in the society feels free to share their thoughts, belief etc.
Individualism: The concept of the individualism and collectivism is very crucial for the
community. But both the culture here works on the factor of collectivism due to which the
problems which are faced by the community are solved easily.
Masculinity : This is the most vital term which the societies are going through. In this
the equality among the genders must be considered. However in both the culture the
CHRISTIAN /MUSLIMS are more considered about giving a equal rights to female as the male
candidate in the community whereas the Rajput culture still believes that males are more
powerful in comparison to females. Therefore the concept of the equality and feminism.

Uncertainty Avoidance: Muslims culture falls under this category as the member of the
Muslims society feels more uncomfortable with uncertainty and ambiguity in comparison to the
culture of the Rajput community. Therefore to improve this uncertainty avoidance they must
focus more on the reality rather their following the principles.
Time orientation: Both the cultural are fostering the component of Time orientation.
This is present in the member of both the culture as they keeps on focusing on the present time in
comparison on focusing on the past experience. Both the culture have established a concept of
forming any decision by considering the future aspect for the community.
Indulgence : However this aspects is important for the society where the people desire to
control their thoughts and feelings. In this the member of Muslims community works with this
indulgence whereas the Rajputs here are free to share their desire, thoughts, feelings etc.
Hall's High and Low context model of the culture :
This model consists of the two factors which are high context and low context :
High context : In this element of the Hall's models the Muslims community falls as they
are more curious about forming a long term relationship and are more concerned about giving
the value to their traditions which have to be followed by all the members of the Muslims
society. The Muslims as well as the Rajputs falls under this stage as both the community works
on the collectivism rather than individualism.
Low context : This stage is the second stage of the Hall's models. Rajputs community is
the one which comes under this low context as the members here does not focus more on
building the long lasting relationship as compared to the Muslims and are the which which
involves direct communication whereas the Muslims are the one which does not involves direct
communication and works with informal flow of the information. This is also concerned with the
factor of the Individualism which the culture of the Rajputs fosters.
Thus, from the above mentioned models it can be understood that Muslims falls under high and
Rajputs falls under the low Context of the Hall's model of the culture.
CONCLUSION
From the above mentioned report, it can be summarised that culture plays a vital role in
the every individuals life as each culture foster their own values, norms, ethics which help them
in maintaining the equality and a mannerism among the members of the society. The report also
covers the autobiography of the two different individuals who are from different culture. For

understanding the differences of the culture the study also consists about the different models
which are related to the culture so that it can be understood in detail that how culture plays a
significant role in the society.
