However, it is important torecognize and remove unethical choices when making ethical decisions, and to select the bestethical alternative (Hardy, 2016).Following are the requirements in decision making of ethicsEthical decisions:It helps in generating trust; shows respect, honesty, fairness and care fairness;and is consistent with good citizenship. Such habits provide the basis for better decision makingby setting down the ground rules for our behavior. Competency:The ability to collect and analyze information, establish alternatives and foreseepotential impacts and risksConsciousness: The understanding of rational action and the application of moral convictions todaily actions Good decisions are both ethical and effective:Effective decisions: The key to effective decision-making is to think about choices regardingtheir ability to achieve our most important goals. This suggests that person need to understandthe difference between immediate and long term and short term goals. Commitment: The desire to do the right thing no matter what does it cost (Armstrong, 2016).
