INTRODUCTION
In this documentation, this study review about some approach of effective reflective
learning approach by which each people can learn new skills and experiences from their
experience and also learn from their experiences. By these activities I will be able to find out all
weak points within the organisation effectively. Furthermore, this assignment describe about
Gibbs reflective model which furnish the main approaches to learn from PPDI module and make
proep professional development in their career in more effective manner. Moreover, this analysis
define about one-week event in which some knowledge and experience can be gained by me
according to PPDI module and several activities within the organisation. This assignment define
about to proper career development plan in which I can set my goals and professional statement
which is required to be achieved by me.
TASK 1
P.1. Why learning through reflection is important and what values could being to your
professional development
Learning through reflection: Several kinds of benefits can be gained by the approach of
learning through reflection of their professional activities in their life in order to learn effective
approaches to better services in their lives of each people. Reflective learning is the method in
which a person observe something new from their experiences in their life's and will be able to
learn new skill and knowledge which make them something new in their lives. Reflective
learning refer to learn something new by each individual within the life in order to better survive
in their professional life. This could be gained through many ways which is group, though
writing, orally and through image as well. In these process individual person able to learn what is
taught form him and what he has learned during completion of course of work in our life
effectively (Preiser, White and Rabinowitz, 2015). As marketing officer in Volkswagen
organisation, I have learned so many things by reflection of our works as marketing efforts
within the firm and by these I have learned and developed several skills and knowledge which
can help me to achieve my future goals and objective within the firm more effectively.
Following values must be added in order to my professional development in marketing

learning I can easy set up my goals and aims of life towards professional development in
my lives.

P.2. Gibbs reflective modules
GIBBS REFLECTIVE MODULES: This is an approach which furnish some process in
which a person can thing about to some of professional works respectively and about to phases
and experiences and some of the activities in order to learn new skills and experiences in their
lives effectively. It is important for me to how to learn from reflection of our experience and how
I can gain experience from some professional activities in our job so that I will be able to
perform better in next time for proper completion of work in our lives (Shull, 2016). I have
chosen Gibbs reflective activities which can help me to develop some of professional
development in our lives so that I would be able to furnish effective services in our lives in more
effective manner. It furnishes some evaluational process in which I can analyse of our works at
the workplace and target some areas in which I will be able to do well and improve the future
performances of our lives in more effective manner. It provides me description of the situation
and our feeling about this particular activities within the job and according to them proper
evaluation can be made to know about to what is right and what is wrong for me within my
professional life. I can proper analyse them and make changes in the performances process so
that future actin plan can be executed in more effective manner. This module furnish me an
appropriate value about know the skills and potential of work and through the analysis I can
evaluate my working performance in my professional life and make decision in which I could
able to improvement in the performance of the professional job effectively.

P.3. Applying Gibbs reflective module and three main things which I have learnt from the PDDI
Applying Gibbs module: As I am working in Volkswagen group in the UK as a
marketing office and I'm responsible to proper completion of marketing activities in order to
raise profitability within the organisation (Klockenkämper and Von Bohlen, 2014). I have learnt
several new marketing skills and experience within the organisation while completion of our
perfectly. I need to apply Gibbs module of reflective learning, the module furnish several phases
of cycle by which I will be able to explore my self in our professional job performances. As I
was working under my senior marketing manager in Volkswagen firm, I have done many
marketing and advertisement exercises at various region in the country and by which I have
learnt several new skills of effective marketing which can lead my future success effectively.
According to Gibbs reflective module I have learnt that there are several activities done by me in
the organisation and some gives me positive reflection and various times I was not able to
completion of some effective marketing activities properly at the workplace. So I need describe
properly about what has been done by within the organisation while falling on completion of
those works. I need to examined what is our feeling while completion of those activities in more
effective form. What is the thinking of my related to the work and I need to explore themselves
to know the weakness of my while interacting with new customers in the market. I can evaluate
those criteria properly and analysed that weak communication skills affected by marketing
efforts negatively and according to appropriate action plan on those areas I can develop some
skill according to reflection of our experience and improve performance in marketing activities:

1. While evaluation of the work, I have learnt about my professional career development in
the marketing segment of our career and I need improve my effective oral skills to
improve my presentation skill.
2. Apart from it, I have learnt that I need to improve my communication skill in terms of
better preset of products of company effectively and which give value to proper
professional plan development in our areas in effective form (Zhang, Li, Singh and Bai,
2012).
3. According to evaluation of our performance of Gibbs reflective module, I have learnt that
I need to improve in my body language in order to create mass communication among

According to evaluation information gained through Gibbs reflective module, I have
explored myself by several activities and figure out the areas in which I can develop myself in
order to proper improvement in the performance within my professional life. It can be stated that
it is totally different from my previous knowledge about to several marketing areas in auto-
mobile industry. By Gibbs reflective approach I can evaluate myself and find out some weak
areas in which I need to improve essentially in order to ameliorate marketing performance and in
order to raise sales of the organisation as well (Vedung, 2017). In previous knowledge I could
not have find out the actual issue and barriers in front of marketing job and I was nit able to
improve them properly by self examination within the firm effectively. From this module, I'm
able to figure out those areas in which I can explore myself and apply some approach to make
effective marketing effort in Volkswagen group so that my future performance in marketing
sector can be improved appropriately. With the help of the reflective module I could have
examined the evaluation of some areas in which I need to assess what is weak category for me
and what can I do in order to gain better outcomes by my effective marketing efforts and
efficiently improve them as well.

Some essential values which can be examined by while applying Gibbs reflective models
in order to explore myself to know the actual performances of my knowledge and what can I do
in terms of improvement in the marketing skills or knowledge effectively (Renard and Allenou,
2015). I have find out some areas in which my professional plan can be executed effectively in

situations and how can I handle it to better reflect on that particular areas in efficient manner

could not have able to satisfy my customers within the organisation effectively because of weak

that I need to improve my communicational skills and experience in order to create better
interaction with our existing customers in the market effectively. I need to learn new experience
through some communicational approach which furnish some value and guidelines to effectively

gives me the values to explore my self to know about to my weakness in marketing field
effectively and according to the analysis of critical situations of my experiences, I can execute
some action of plan in which I can improve my communicational and oral presentation skills
more effectively so that I will be able develop myself by continuous reflecting my experiences in
sufficient form which furnish values to meliorate my knowledge to learn new marketing skills
which can furnish value to sufficient success of my career in my live.

P.7. What techniques you have used for reflective practices
Introduction of reflection: In order to better improvement in my experiences, I need to
utilise effective reflective practices within my professional live in order to deliberate the ways in
which I can systematically think about experiences and our weakness in the knowledge and learn
form the mistakes which I have been made within marketing efforts within the organisation. I
need identify my strength and weakness effectively in order to know the criteria of improvement
in myself (Patton, 2010).
P.8. What happened when I was in the initial reaction to the event
First week: According to the first week in investigation of Gibbs reflective module, as a
marketing officer I have observed that in Volkswagen organisation, several employees in
marketing team are furnish their services at the workplace by using efficient marketing
approaches within the organisation effectively. In terms of making interaction among several
employees I need to spend 10 minutes on them and observe that what kinds of marketing skill I
need to acquire in order to furnishing effective marketing services within the firm in order to
improvement of organisation growth effectively.
Second week: Several group of employees are working in these areas and furnishing their
effective marketing services. As a new marketing officer in Volkswagen organisation, I have felt
that several employees in the firm making interaction among them in order to satisfy each

organisation. According to these feelings I have observed that several effective marketing
services which I needed to learn and make improvement in communication and oral presentation
skills in order to furnishing efficient marketing services towards our new customers and also
professional development of my skills efficiently.
Fifth week: Many times, I have observed that I went fall down in terms of providing
effective marketing services to satisfy each customers needs in Volkswagen group effectively. I
have felt that I need to learn new things within the marketing approach so that I will be able to
gain more experiences in effective manner and also able to gain new skill within the business in
order to relevant professional career development of mine (Morón-García, 2010). According to
self reflecting model I have evaluated that, several weaknesses making negative impact on
marketing skills. In this event, I need to analyse myself to know about to the weak point in which
I can properly improvement execute effectively.
Sixth week: In this event, if I use some other reflection model, then I will be able to get
different reflection approach and some of different issues which comes in the way of proper
marketing approaches. If I want t take my career in marketing field then I need to develop some
skills according to different models of reflection and implement them on me to lean new
experience from the market efficiently.
Seventh week: In this week, I will be able to properly interact with all marketing
executives within the organisation effectively and according to their experience I will learn new
marketing approach in order to learn the way to better serve the organisational product and
services effectively. According to Gibbs reflective approach, I observe new approach which I
need to improve in order to learn new communicational approaches within the organisation and
also improvement in oral presentation approach in order to make efficient mass communication
with their existing customers. By these activities, I will be able to properly developed my
effective mass communicational skills.
P.9 Reflection change if using a different model/ techniques
Several types of reflecting learning model presented here in order to proper development
of their issues in more effective manner. There are different-different learning to reflect learning
styles presented here in order to proper development of their experiences and skills within the

organisation. In case of my, I can utilise several kinds of different reflecting ways to learn
several l things in efficient form (Milanowski, 2017). These reflecting models are Dewey model,
Bound model, Kolb models and Lawrence-Wilkes and Ashmore models, which furnish the vales
in which different kinds of self reflective learning approaches comes out in the form of proper
development of their issues in more effective manner so that each of them can get more efficient
services. In case of learning new marketing skills different kinds of approach furnish different
method to reflect the learning from our experiences in professional lives in order to development
of our professional career within the organisation effectively.

It is examined that, effective learning can be executed with the assistance of reflective
learning approach in which an individual learn through their experience in order to improvement
in future performance and also learn from their mistakes in their profession efficiently.
